Management has been defined by Mary Parker Follett as, the art of getting things done through people. Human resources are one of the most important assets of the organization & assessing it current value is both important and difficult, but it must be done if this resources utility is to be optimized, the performance of their resource will determine the overall effectiveness of the organization. People in any organization manifest themselves, not only through individual sections but also through group interactions. When individuals come to work place, they come with not only technical skills, knowledge etc., but also with their personal feelings, perception, desires, motives, attitude, values etc. also other factors of the human resources. In simple sense, human resources management means employing people, developing their resources, utilizing, maintaining and compensating their services in tune with the job and organizational requirements. Human Resource Management can be defined as managing the functions of employing, developing and compersating human resources resulting in the creating and development of human relations with a view to contribute proportionately to the organizational, individual and social goals. Michael J. Jucius defined Personnel Management as the field of management which has to do with planning, organizing, directing and controlling the functions of procuring, developing, maintaining and utilizing a labour force. According to Leon C. Megginson, the term human resources can be thought of as, the total knowledge, skills, creative abilities, talents and aptitudes of an organizations workforce, as well as the value, attitudes and beliefs of the individuals involved. QUALITY OF WORK LIFE Quality is generally defined as conformance to requirements .Quality is as fitness for purpose. The concept is not only applied to all goods and services created by the human beings, but also for work place where the employees were employed Quality in the workplace comes from understanding and then fully meeting, the needs of all your internal and external customers, this is done for future and continual improvement in efficiency and effectiveness of their employees. QWL is the Degree to which members of work organization are able to satisfy important personal needs through their experience in the organization. QWL is cooperative rather than authoritarian, evolutionary and open rather then static and rigid, informal rather than rule bound, impersonal rather than mechanistic, mutual respect and trust rather than hatred against each other. QWL refers to the favorableness or un- favorableness of a total job environment of the people. The basic purpose is to develop jobs and working conditions that are excellent for people as well as for economic health of the organization. QWL provides a more humanized work environment .It seeks to employ the higher skills of workers and to provide an environment that encourages improving their skills. LIMITATIONS
Time limit is the one of the major component of this study. It is not possible to collect the information from all the employees in the organization. Some employees were unwilling to answer the questions. Employees will not provide accurate information They views changes according to the situations.
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Research cause recognize that students preparing to manage business, not for profit and public organizations in all functional areas Needs training in a discipline process for conducting an enquire of a management The factors that stimulate an interest in a specific approach in decision making The managers increase need for more and better information The availability of improved techniques and tools to meet this need The resulting information overload discipline is not employed in the process
Definition According to P. Cook Research is an honest, exhaustive, intelligent researching for facts and their meanings or implications with reference to a given problem. According to Redman and Mory, Research is a systematized effort to gain new knowledge. According to C. C. Craford Research is simply a systematic and redefined of thinking employing specialized tools, instruments and produce to obtain a more adequate solution of a problem. Research Design A research Design is the arrangement of conditions for collection and analysis of data in a manner that aims to combine relevance to the purpose with economy in procedure. Generally the Research Design can be convenient described in 3 ways. They are, Research design in case of descriptive research studies. Research design in case of exploratory research studies. Research design in case of diagnostic research studies.
Source Of Data The source for collecting the data is form both primary method and secondary method
Primary Data The primary data are those which are collected afresh and for the first time, and thus happen to be original in character. The tools for collecting this primary data are by two types namely Interview Methods and Questionnaire Method. Secondary Data The Secondary data are those which have already been collected by someone else and which have already been passed through the statistical process in the company. Sample Size The sample size of the survey is taken as 100 respondents. Sampling Procedure Sampling is the selection of group with a view to obtain information about the whole is group of persons that represent particular community. The sampling method used was random sampling. This sampling method was used because of lack of through knowledge about the universe. The sample size was fixed to 100 respondents Type Of Survey Simple random sampling technique.
