    This event is jointly organised with Energy in Demand, Europe leading blog on energy efficiency We are bringing together high-level policy and business actors for balancing and sharing priories and ideas on the practical ways for driving investment into energy efficiency. Financing energy efficiency has been recognized as the main barrier for more energy efficient businesses and manufacturing in Europe. EEIP has for the last two years worked with a number of private investors (banks, investment funds, credit agencies, market experts and insurers) finding out what are the barriers from their side in investing in energy efficiency projects. We have included in these discussions business presenting real case projects, utilities, ESCOs and public sector (European Commission, EBRD, EIB, national governments). These discussions have resulted in several concrete proposals on how to optimize the environment for energy efficiency investments. Speakers at this event are selected from our past cooperators and more. The subjects covered will be energy efficiency market, institutional investing, private investors, EU ETS, crowdfunding, insurance, ESCO and 'green banking.'
