OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE
Project 58
This week we assisted the financially strapped mother of a WOLC member with a bus ticket to visit her dying sister. Project 58 is a church wide initiative based on Isaiah 58: "Is this not the fast that I have chosen... Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, and that you bring to your house the poor that are cast out... We invite you to fast lunch on Fridays and bring the money you would have spent on lunch to the church where it will be used to help those in need in our community.
