Let him who walks in the dark, who has no light, trust in the name of the Lord, and rely on his God (Isa. 50:10b).

Today's Prayer Requests: From Students, Alumni, and Missionaries

NORTHERN GHANA: A student asks us to pray for total healing for two Muslim ladies who recently came to Christ as a result of health needs. They had sought healing through mallams (Koranic scholars), juju men, shrines, and hospitals. Jesus touched them and they have started coming to church. They are trusting God for perfect health; pray for this and for their spiritual growth. TOGO: Pray for Muslims who have accepted Jesus in a Muslim-dominated town where there are several AG and other Pentecostal churches. Some openly attend church, but others, fearing persecution, attend Bible studies in secret. Pray for the pastors who are teaching them, and that the Word and Spirit of God will do a deep work in the lives of these converts and use them to reach others. BIBLE SCHOOLS/AFRICA & ELSEWHERE: In several Bible schools in West and Central Africa and in the U.S., students are now regularly praying for Muslims. Pray that the burden to pray for and reach out to these people will grow in their hearts. Pray that, as Christian leaders, they can help break down the prejudices many hold and help their church members to see Muslims through the loving eyes of God.

In the News
Christians and churches in Egypt are being increasingly targeted as the Muslim Brotherhood gains power. Christians, most belonging to the Coptic Church, make up 10% of the population. Pray that God's Spirit will convict the hearts of their persecutors and reveal himself to them. Pray that Copts who do not have a true relationship with Jesus will turn to Him. From Global Initiative*

Pray for Iranian pastor Saeed Abedini. Pray for the release of Abedini, sentenced to eight years in prison for trumpedup charges of endangering national security. Abedini, a U.S. citizen, has a wife and two children. Pastor Saeed has recently been placed in solitary confinement in a further attempt to force him to renounce his faith. He has been refused any visits from family and is not being treated for worsening health issues. Please pray for his spiritual and physical strength and a divine touch in his body. Pray that the Holy Spirit will touch those who guard him. Read more at http://bit.ly/15a2WPU.

For Muslim Women**

Please pray for female Muslim university students who have been awakened to the truth of the gospel, as they return to their homelands for work or summer break. Pray that God will cover them with His presence and give them a continued desire to seek and serve Him.
