Support will include helping individuals to develop improve their financial literacy and develop money management and budgeting skills as well as coordinate and delivery XXX financial capability plan Key to the job is the ability to work with schools, advice agencies, credit unions and other partners to progress individuals financial capability. Key Duties/Areas of Responsibility include: To support the Financial Inclusion team to implement the 2008-2011 Financial Inclusion Action Plan, by offering opportunities to improve the financial capability skills of XXXs local communities. To teach and deliver training of both accredited and non accredited courses To contribute to the Financial Inclusion teams targets of engagement and training To develop new ideas for delivery of financial capability training To offer parents and carers opportunities in the community to access basic skills development, advice and affordable credit and savings options To coordinate the Financial Inclusion Capability plan and work on own initiative To take responsibility for working with external partners, including schools and childrens centres. To arrange sessions to engage with learners and to promote the benefits of good money management skills To identify and support learners to access additional services for advice and affordable finance and savings To develop with others appropriate resources to support financial capability programmes To work with other partners to support progression of individuals to become more financially capable. Special Skills/Knowledge An ability to deliver training and facilitate group work Ability to demonstrate initiative, develop ideas and work independently Understanding of financial inclusion issues and how they impact on individuals and communities. Ability to communicate with a wide range of people and at a variety of levels Experience of writing funding applications and securing funding Personal Qualities Ability to inspire and motivate others to deliver their full potential and deliver their full potential and achieve goals
