On the World Sports Festival We are glad to invite you to this years World Sports Festival which for the first time includes a Taekwondo tournament (among 12 other sports). The World Sports Festival is a youth sports festival that aims to bring young athletes competing in different sports and from all over the world together to join in unity. Besides competitions it offers adolescents different events like e. g. the grand opening ceremony and the Players party which are inspired by the Olympic thought. Condition for Participation Proof of membership by valid national Federation passport with ETU/WTF membership. All contestants have to proof their age and nationality by presenting their passport or identification card at weigh-in. Those who are not recognized as adults by law in their own country must submit a passport or identification card together with a written consent (liability declaration) of their parents or lawful guardian accepting the participation and all parts of the official invitation. Visa In order to give support to get the visas it is necessary to send a correct written application letter to the World Sports Festival organization committee with name, age and passport number of all team members, competitors and officials (if possible, please send a word file as e-mail attachment). We will send a confirmation letter by e-mail (or if necessary by air mail) to the team and to the embassies involved. Please give the visa process in the embassies at least two weeks for handling all applications. Anti Doping The competitor accepts with the application the anti-doping rules of the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA), the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF).

Participation and Accommodation Packages Each of the following packages includes: participation fee entrance to the sports venues World Sports Festival goodie bag Free entrance to all side events and the Players Town 1. Taekwondo tournament participation without accommodation Includes the services mentioned above but no 40,-- per person accommodation. 2. Basic package: Taekwondo tournament participation and basic accommodation Includes the services mentioned above, three nights either at a camping site or in 90,-- per person a sleeping hall (equipment has to be brought by the participants, camp beds can be rented) and breakfast 3. Premium package: Taekwondo tournament participation and better accommodation Includes 140,-- per person in a 3-4 bedded room the services mentioned above, 180,-- per person in a double room three nights in a 3***/4****-star hotel, 255,-- per person in a single room breakfast Please find closer information on the packages, prices for non-competitors (coaches and fans) as well as the details on payment conditions on www.world-sports-festival.com. Local transport and catering (lunch and dinner) can be booked additionally. Please find closer information at the end of the outline on page 7. Liability All competitors of the World Sports Festival Taekwondo tournament participate at their own risk. The registration application implies that the contestants agree to assume all responsibility for themselves and to release all others from all and any liability which may directly or indirectly result from the World Sports Festival Taekwondo Tournament.

Registration Athletes have to be registered in two steps. Please note: Coaches and fans also have to go through the first registration step. They must register for the World Sports Festival in order to have free access to the sports venues, the festival events and the Players Town. For questions regarding the registration process please contact the Festival Sports Director Agnes Engleder (agnes@world-sports-festival.com). 1st step: FESTIVAL REGISTRATION Athletes as well as their coaches and fans have to register for the whole World Sports Festival 2013 online: http://www.world-sports-festival.com/en/booking/online-booking The festival registration includes booking of the accommodation as well as shuttle and catering if needed. Deadline: June 13th, 2013 (Thursday) 2nd step: TAEKWONDO SPECIFIC / TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION After you have registered for the festival you will be able to register your athletes for the taekwondo tournament online: www.tpss.nl Deadline: June 23rd, 2013 (Sunday)
Coaches Coaches can enter the competition area only with proper sport shoes and proper tracksuit. Before weigh-in all coaches must have the Special ID-Cards for their teams. Weigh-in and entry to the sports hall only with Special ID-Cards! Special ID-Cards for all competitors and coaches! Competition Rules WTF Competition Rules Practical Information 4 competition areas - all with electronic scoring system Single elimination tournament system Equipment Pupils, Cadets, Juniors and Seniors -21: DAEDO protector scoring systems. Head gear, groin/forearm/shin guards and gloves are compulsory and must be brought by the contestant. Mouth piece is compulsory!

Protest Only the official coach is allowed to protest, immediately after the end of the contest. An amount of 50,-- will have to be paid for each protest. The decision of the referee chairman is final. Referees Without exception (please dont use the tpss tool for referees) all referees will be contacted and invited by the Referee Committee. Hotel and Full board accommodation will be provided for international referees from July 4th to July 7th, 2013. Classification Places 1 to 3 will be scored for classification of teams. The key 6-3-1 will be used. Award presentation Medals for the places 1 to 3 individual results. Trophies for the places 1 to 3 teams results. The awards will be presented in the course of the daily festival evening program. Results The contestants agree with the announcement, that the first and last name, the weight category, the nation/organization and the placing in the list of results will be reported in the internet as well as in printed media. Transport Transport from the hotels to the different sports venues as well as connection to Viennese public transport is provided by the festival organization. Tickets for the WSF (World Sports Festival) Shuttles can be booked online on www.world-sports-festival.com for 12,-- per person for the whole period of the festival (Thursday to Sunday). Catering Also, catering (lunch and dinner) is provided by the festival organization at the sports venues as well as in the hotels for 60,-- per person for the whole period of the festival (Thursday evening to Sunday lunchtime). I do know that Taekwondo is a Full Contact Competition Sport, where injuries cannot be excluded. Neither the organizer nor the promoter of the event can be held responsible for any damages or injuries and therefore I declare that there exists a valid insurance that will cover costs of possible injuries for my son/my daughter or that I will accept all costs in connection with possible injuries or damages by myself.
