KAMARULZAMAN 0813669 SECTION 3 GROUP 1 DR LILY SURIANI LE 4100 EOW BUSINESS COMMUNICATION CLASS FOR STAFF Executive Summary Evidence from our employees, human resources department and customer respond survey proves that the Rolling Stone has a problem with improper communication when working with each other. To improve the communication skills so that it meet recommendations of Rolling Stone Society and other experts, we need to hire representative from each department to teach them how to speak more fluent, term business and proper language for employees attend the business communication class. The recommended class will cost less than RM1400 and improve our communications skill, liability rating, and public image when dealing with client along with increasing the teamwork level in company. Introduction Background Our records for the eight month prove that we do, have a problem: 30 incident of misunderstanding 10 improper writing in memo 50 incidents of miscommunication 50 usages of improper vocabulary and grammar Even though, the human resources department rates the relative poor communications of Rolling Stone to be low compared to the other company. Furthermore, the survey our marketing conducted last month showed that more than 50% of the 800 respondents feel some concern for their communication skills when working in our company. Refer Table 1 for the breakdown of the responses.

Problem Ineffectiveness Rolling Stone communication of staff is a serious concern. As good corporate company, we have a responsibility to the staff to maintain a better company in communication. We recognize that some of the employees not comfortable when speaking in English language. We risk losing clients and customers if Rolling Stone does not maintain a good, peaceful image. We also must watch the business management regarding lack of business communication. However, it is evident from our research that, as a result of poor communication, benefits on our company is not assured. Solution Problems with communication can be reduced by having a class about the business communication and English Language to meet the recommendations of our own local staff Rolling Stone Society guidelines. To provide the class for communication skill, we can use meeting hall in each department. Also to save the cost, we can choose the representatives who have higher skill, good and fluent in speaking for each department to teach them. Objective The purpose of this proposal is to improve their quality of communication skill at Rolling Stone so that customers, employees, and staff feel more comfortable and understanding to manage and increase the level of the teamwork of our company.

Assessment of Cost The adjustments necessary to upgrade the business communication skill will cost about RM1400. The following budget details the expenses for this project: Hired representative teachers Participants Handout 6 @ RM200 per month 200 @ RM1.00 per month RM1200 RM200

In addition, the budget will be increase depend on the number of participants and representatives. The increase of budget is due to the increase of participant handout. The cost for venue allocation can be eliminated by using the company meeting hall. The cost is reducing because the representative teacher hired from our each department Rolling Stone. Conclusion If communications of Rolling Stone employees is not improved, future problems are likely to occur. We might face a decrease in the number of customers willing to cooperate with us. This proposal is a corrective and a preventive measure that increases the level of their communication foe everyone on this company, Rolling Stone will benefits from a stable environment.

THE ORGANIZATION TO SPONSOR A REALITY SHOW ON TV Executive Summary Evidence from our company, others reality TV show broadcast and customer respond proves that the Forever Delicious need to maintain and increase the customers with sponsoring the show for company benefits. To make the reality TV show happen, we need to hired popular artist and experience staff by using our own products. To improve the customer needs so that it meets their requirements of the Forever Delicious Society and other experts. The recommended suggests will cost less than half million which is rm246,000 and will improve our popularity, liability rating and public image along with increasing our customers trust in the local market. Introduction Background Based on eight month survey conducted, our records prove that: Increase in product user High viewer rating Good advertisement medium Even though sponsoring a reality TV show could be expensive but it gives more benefits to the Forever Delicious product. Furthermore, based on the survey our marketing conducted eight month showed that product usage can be increase more than 50% and 1569 customers gives positive feedback about the product. Table 1 In order to increase the popularity and improve our marketing, reality TV show can be a good medium for our company. By using reality TV show, as marketing medium it could increase customers trust on our product, strengthen and maintain our local market that we cannot afford to lose. In order to gain and increase the customer trust reality TV show can be consider an effective medium to successfully to advertise our product and reach our target customer. As good corporate company, we have a responsibility to the staff to maintain a better company in the future. We risk losing clients and customers if Forever Delicious does not maintain a good, peaceful image. However, it is evident from our research that, as a result of gaining popularity, benefits on our company is assured. Solution Problems with sponsoring reality TV show can be reduced by using the profit from previous year. To save the cost, Finance department has calculated that 40% from the advertisement budget can be use for sponsoring. To maintain our product usage in the local market by the customer, we have to sure the reality TV show has high rating and good popularity. Objective The purpose of this proposal is to improve our product usage at the Forever Delicious so that customers, employees, and staff gaining trust and understanding to manage and increase the product growth in the future of our company. In addition, the budget will be increase depend on the number of artist and staff hired. The increase of budget is due to the increase of artist and crew transportations. The cost for venue location can be eliminated by using public location and our own factory. The cost can be reduced because the products use in the reality TV show is our own company product.

Conclusion If popularity of Forever Delicious is not improved and sustained, future problems are likely to occur. We might face a decrease in the number of customers willing to use our products. This proposal is a suggestion measure that increases the level of popularity for our company Forever Delicious products will benefits by sponsoring a reality TV show.
