The course instructor/(s) / faculty/(ies) should be willing to offer the course. The DUGC should recommend offering of such a summer course for consideration and approval of the Dean of AcademicProgrammes.ThecourseisofferedonapprovaloftheDeanofAcademicProgrammes. ii. Thecourseisofferedwithadequaterigorand inthesamemannerasaregularsemestercourseis offered.Studentswhohavenobacklog,canalsoregisterforasummercourse,provideditisoffered. iii. iv. ThedroppingofaSummerCourseispermittedwithin7daysfromthefirstlectureofthecourse.Fee isnotrefundable. v. Reexamispermittedonthesametermsandconditionsasforacourseintheregularsemester.The reexaminations,ifany,willbescheduledwiththosefortheSpringsemester. vi. TimeslotswillbeassignedbyorcommunicatedtotheAcademicOfficeasfortheregularsemester courses. vii. Astudentcanregisterforasummercourseifhe/she(a)hasabackloginthesamecourseOR(b)has3 ormorebacklogsinothercoursesandthosecoursesarenotrunningassummercourse. viii. TheInstructorswillawardaFRgradetostudentswhofailtoadhereto80%attendanceforthe summercourse. ix. Atleast 05 students should register for the summer course.
