c|rcu|t.
T|ghten the are nut by torque wrench w|th spec|ed
method.
lf the fare nut were t|ghtened w|th excess torque, th|s may
cause burst and refr|gerant |eakage after a |ong per|od.
Do not open the operat|on va|ves for ||qu|d ||ne and

lf the compressor |s operated |n state of open|ng operat|on
va|ves before comp|eted connect|on of refr|gerant p|p|ng
work, a|r can be sucked |nto refr|gerant c|rcu|t, wh|ch can
cause bust or persona| |njury due to anoma|ous|y h|gh
pressure |n the refr|gerant.
The e|ectr|ca| |nsta||at|on must be carr|ed out by the
qua||ed e|ectr|c|an |n accordance w|th "the norm for
e|ectr|ca| work" and "nat|ona| w|r|ng regu|at|on", and
the system must be connected to the ded|cated
c|rcu|t.
Power supp|y w|th |nsuffc|ent capac|ty and |ncorrect
funct|on done by |mproper work can cause e|ectr|c shocks
and fre.
Be sure to shut off the power before start|ng e|ectr|ca|
work.
Fa||ure to shut off the power can cause e|ectr|c shocks, un|t
fa||ure or |ncorrect funct|on of equ|pment.
Be sure to use the cab|es conformed to safety
standard and cab|e ampac|ty for power d|str|but|on

Be sure to sw|tch off the power supp|y |n the event of
|nsta||at|on, |nspect|on or serv|c|ng.
lf the power supp|y |s not shut off, there |s a r|sk of e|ectr|c
shocks, un|t fa||ure or persona| |njury due to the unexpected
start of fan.
Stop the compressor before remov|ng the p|pe after
shutt|ng the serv|ce va|ve on pump down work.
lf the p|pe |s removed when the compressor |s |n operat|on
w|th the serv|ce va|ve open, a|r wou|d be m|xed |n the

Earth |eakage breaker must be |nsta||ed.
lf the earth |eakage breaker |s not |nsta||ed, |t can cause
e|ectr|c shocks.
Ensure that no a|r enters |n the refr|gerant c|rcu|t
when the un|t |s |nsta||ed and removed.
lf a|r enters |n the refr|gerant c|rcu|t, the pressure |n the
refr|gerant c|rcu|t becomes too h|gh, wh|ch can cause burst
and persona| |njury.
Do not process|ng, sp||ce the power cord, or share a
socket w|th other power p|ugs.
Th|s may cause fre or e|ectr|c shock due to defect|ng
contact, defect|ng |nsu|at|on and over-current etc.
Do not bund||ng, w|nd|ng or process|ng for the power
cord. Or, do not deform|ng the power p|ug due to
tread |t.
Th|s may cause fre or heat|ng.
Do not run the un|t w|th removed pane|s or
protect|ons.
Touch|ng rotat|ng equ|pments, hot surfaces or h|gh vo|tage
parts can cause persona| |njury due to entrapment, burn or
e|ectr|c shocks.
Do not perform any change of protect|ve dev|ce |tse|f
or |ts setup cond|t|on.
The forced operat|on by short-c|rcu|t|ng protect|ve dev|ce of
pressure sw|tch and temperature contro||er or the use of
non spec|fed component can cause fre or burst.
Use the c|rcu|t breaker of correct capac|ty. C|rcu|t
breaker shou|d be the one that d|sconnect a|| po|es
under over current.
s|ng the |ncorrect one cou|d cause the system fa||ure and
fre.
Insta|| |so|ator or d|sconnect sw|tch on the power
supp|y w|r|ng |n accordance w|th the |oca| codes and
regu|at|ons.
The |so|ator shou|d be |ocked |n OFF state |n accordance
w|th EN60204-1.
After ma|ntenance, a|| w|r|ng, w|r|ng t|es and the ||ke,
shou|d be returned to the|r or|g|na| state and w|r|ng
route, and the necessary c|earance from a|| meta|
parts shou|d be secured.
Secure a space for |nsta||at|on, |nspect|on and
ma|ntenance spec|ed |n the manua|.
lnsuffc|ent space can resu|t |n acc|dent such as persona|
|njury due to fa|||ng from the |nsta||at|on p|ace.
Take care when carry|ng the un|t by hand.
lf the un|t we|ghts more than 20kg, |t must be carr|ed by two
or more persons. Do not carry by the p|ast|c straps, a|ways
use the carry hand|e when carry|ng the un|t by hand. se

D|spose of any pack|ng mater|a|s correct|y.
Any rema|n|ng pack|ng mater|a|s can cause persona| |njury
as |t conta|ns na||s and wood. And to avo|d danger of
suffocat|on, be sure to keep the p|ast|c wrapper away from
ch||dren and to d|spose after tear |t up.
Be sure to |nsu|ate the refr|gerant p|pes so as not to
condense the amb|ent a|r mo|sture on them.
lnsuffc|ent |nsu|at|on can cause condensat|on, wh|ch can
|ead to mo|sture damage on the ce|||ng, foor, furn|ture and
any other va|uab|es.
When perform the a|r cond|t|oner operat|on (coo||ng

lnstall the outdoor unit so it will be horizontal.
Also, secure the legs of the unit to a frm foundation to prevent any instabilities.
Secure it frmly so the unit will not fall during earthquakes and from sudden gusts of wind.

This multi-type room air conditioner receives its power from outside.
To ensure correct connections, mark each ends of the cables with number, A to D. lt
is important to use the same number the corresponding cables and pipes.
An earth leakage breaker and a circuit breaker must be installed.
Their capacities are 25A.

4 AIR PURGING
NOTE : Fully open the operation valves (on both liquid and gas sidesj after completing air purging.
Since the system uses service ports differing in diameter from those found
on the conventional models, a charge hose (for R22j presently in use is not
applicable. Please use one designed specifcally for R410A.
Please use an anti-reverse fow type vacuum pump adapter so as to prevent
vacuum pump oil from running back into the system. Oil running back into
an air-conditioning system may cause the refrigerant cycle to break down.
Remove the cap on both gas and liquid sides before starting operation.
After completing the operation, do not forget to tighten the cap (gas may leakj.
Conduct air purging for all connected indoor units.
Procedure
(1j Secure all fare nuts on both indoor and outdoor sides to
prevent leaks from the pipes.
(2j Connect the operation valves, charge hose, manifold
valve and vacuum pump as shown in the right fgure.
(3j Fully open the handle Lo for the manifold valve, and
pump a vacuum for 15 minutes. Ensure that the meter
is indicating -0.1MPa (-76cmHgj.
(4j After vacuuming, fully open the operation valve (both
liquid and gas sidesj with a hexagon wrench.
(5j Remove the charge hose from service port.
(6j Repeat the above steps (1j ~ (5j for all connected indoor units.
(7j Ensure that there are no gas leaks from the joints in the indoor and outdoor units.
