The Forever Delicious products are increasingly becoming popular in the local market. Bearing in mind the 5Cs principles of effective communication, complete the following p arts of the proposal to the General Manager, suggesting for the organization to sponsor a reality show on TV. You are advised to include your own additional information whenever necessary.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The financial statement of our company reveals our company generating profit in terms of sales rose 30% for the past three months from January 2013 to March 2013. This is due to the increase in the popularity of products in the local market.
To maintain the market share of our company, we need to find a solution by sponsoring a reality show, Master Chef Malaysia Season 2. By sponsoring the show, our company will gain the attention from the consumers and investors to buy or invest in our products.
The recommended sponsoring will cost RM 98,000. The cost is reasonable as the benefit for the company will get more opportunity to expand their product not only local but also in the global market.
INTRODUCTION Background
The Forever Delicious is a new company which is specialized in baking extra delicious pastries as well as serving a variety of beverages. Our products are increasingly becoming popular in the local market in addition with a new delightful pastry with seafood.
Our sales records rose about 30% for the past three months which the highest sales was generated from our new launched delightful pastry product last two months. In addition, the survey from our marketing team which is conducted last month showed that more than 70% of our customers watch a reality show on TV during their leisure time. Thus, we can take this opportunity to advertise and market our products by sponsoring a reality show so that consumers are aware and can continuously buy our products daily.
Apart from that, our products have gained trust from the consumers because they are confident with our quality and price offered. Besides, we are also the pioneer in the pastries industries for over 10 years.
Data Sources
The data used to create this proposal are derived from our surveys and sales records from Finance Department. The sales are generated from the sales for the past three months from January 2013 to March 2013 in the financial statement. There also are positive trend of profit of the products due to the high preferences of consumers towards the products for the past three months from January 2013 to March 2013.
Problem
The Forever Delicious products are increasingly becoming popular in the local market. Lack of promotion and advertisement for the product can risk losing our customers to our competitors. It is not an easy job to maintain the popularity of our product among the customer. We must maintain our customers loyalty to buy our products.

Solution
Problems with lack of promotion and advertisement can be encountered if our company sponsors a reality show on TV. The reality show is well known today and our product can be advertised and promoted to the customers. In the reality show, we will promote our products by having a session as we can sponsor a cooking reality show on TV. We can participate and join Master Chef Malaysia reality show season 2 starting from June 2013 which is 3 months from now. This reality show on TV is not the first time introduced in Malaysia and continuously from the last season 1 last year. We can promote our products as sponsor the program.
Objective
The purpose of this proposal is to make our products more popular and convey Malaysian citizens to buy our products continuously. The popularity of the show also can attract investors to invest in our company and we will gain more capital to improve our product making in the future.
Assessment of cost
To sponsor the TV reality show we need to sponsor in terms of our products and also sum of money as we are one of the main sponsor in this reality show. The full sponsorship will cost RM 98 000. Conclusion
The Forever Delicious should be as one of the main sponsor in the Master Chef Malaysia Season 2 as one of the marketing strategy. Being as sponsor could help us in increase our products of popularity and introduce our products to customers as well as investors. We recommend that RM 98, 000 be allocated in this quarters operating budget for sponsoring the reality show. These sponsorship will strengthen our image in terms of confident and credibility of our customer to buy our products.
