Os hinos so muito utilizados na magia astrolgica e tem um certo ar de equivalncia com os mantras usados na astrologia vdica. J falamos do tema antes e eu publiquei minha traduo do hino rfico de mercrio, hino da lua e de marte. Mas nunca terminei porque, sinceramente, d muito trabalho. Por isso que bom ter alunos esforados! A Irene do curso de introduo traduziu os hinos rficos, e como era uma pena deixar no curso perdido, decidimos colocar no blog. Abaixo est a verso em ingls, e a traduo tentativa. Self-born, unwearied in diffusing light, and to all eyes the mirrour of delight: Lord of the seasons, with thy fiery car and leaping coursers, beaming light from far: With thy right hand the source of morning light, and with thy left the father of the night. Agile and vigrous, venerable Sun, fiery and bright around the heavns you run. Foe to the wicked, but the good mans guide, oer all his steps propitious you preside: With various founding, golden lyre, tis mine to fill the world with harmony divine. Father of ages, guide of prosprous deeds, the worlds commander, borne by lucid steeds, Immortal Jove [Zeus], all-searching, bearing light, source of existence, pure and fiery bright Bearer of fruit, almighty lord of years, agil and warm, whom evry powr reveres. Great eye of Nature and the starry skies, doomd with immortal flames to set and rise Dispensing justice, lover of the stream, the worlds great despot, and oer all supreme. decline. Mother of ages, fruit-producing Moon [Mene], whose amber orb makes Nights reflected noon: Lover of horses, splendid, queen of Night, all-seeing powr bedeckd with starry light. Lover of vigilance, the foe of strife, in peace rejoicing, and a prudent life: Fair lamp of Night, its ornament and friend, who givst to Natures works their destind end. Queen of the stars, all-wife Diana hail! Deckd with a graceful robe and shining veil; Come, blessed Goddess, prudent, starry, bright, come moony-lamp with chaste and splendid light, Shine on these sacred rites with prosprous rays, and pleasd accept thy suppliants mystic praise. Fumegar Aromticos Ouve, Deusa rainha, difundindo luz prateada, porta-voz e viajante atravs da escurido da noite.
