Teacher will read the questions aloud and students will discuss them in their groups and write their answer on the white board provided. Teacher will discuss each question and answer by reviewing the sections where the information is provided. Identify & discuss economy in each lesson.

2. Review vocabulary from previous lessons. 3. Students should take notes and record information not listed on their study guides or homework. Students that need a reteach-mini lesson worksheet will get one at the beginning of class. 4. Answer questions students may have? 5. CLOSURE: Economy plays a huge role in our country. From all the readings in the unit this week, what point of view do you have of our country? Discuss with your group. F. Assessment: What will you use to measure student understanding? Students will answer the question provided in the closure: Economy plays a huge role in our country. From all the readings in the unit this week, what point of view do you have of our country? Based on the information they read this week. Students will discuss with their groups. Explain how you will know students understand the concepts from the lesson. I will measure students comprehension by walking around the classroom and listening to their discussion and conversations. This will allow me to step in and guide them if they need the assistance and provide them with more information if they needed. This will also allow me to know what section they are still struggling with. By performing this sort of assessment I can measure my teaching by reflecting on it prior to teaching this lesson again in the future. G. Reflection: 1. Which part of the lesson do you think will be the easiest for you to teach? I think the easiest part to teach will be discussing and reviewing what we have learned throughout the week. 2. Which part will be most challenging for you to teach? The most challenging part for me to teach will be reviewing ideas or concepts that were not addressed earlier in the week, because it will take me back to that days lesson instead of becoming just a review. 3. How will you follow up or extend this lesson?

As an extension, I will have students interview their parents about economy in their early years. One factor would be that gas prices were cheaper back in the day, but the minimum wage salary was way less than it is now. Students will compare the earlier economy days to the present, along with predicting about the future. 4. What will you do for students who dont grasp the concepts? For the students that who dont grasp the concepts, I would use the Reteach Mini lessons that were provided earlier in the week and have short discussions about them. I would separate these students by the section they are struggling with and provide as much artifacts or articles possible to assist them. 5. Which part of the lesson, if any, do you think might need to change? I like the way this unit has been created, but I would like to bring in pictures of the earlier days that contain signs with gas prices, or the price of a drink when it all costs few cents. This will allow my students to reflect and think about how our economy has changed over the years. 6. When you were writing this lesson plan, what was the most difficult part? When I was writing this unit plan the most challenging part was creating appropriate and measurable assessments. I always have a difficult time with this portion because I believe it tells the teacher how well she/he is teaching and what they can do to make it better. Do the lessons need to be more kinesthetic, or more visual? I think the assessments I will be performing for these lessons were appropriate for their grade level and related to the real life, which I believe is essential. After all we want to teach them to live and survive and what else to apply life skill strategies and critical thinking.
