I think the easiest part to teach will be discussing our neighbor states as many students are familiar with them, because theyve traveled there before because is closed by. 2. Which part will be most challenging for you to teach? I think the most challenging part to teach will be building on background knowledge because on Plain states, as this information might have not been learned before. 3. How will you follow up or extend this lesson? As an extension to the lesson, I would have students complete the Extended Lesson 2 (pg. 232). 4. What will you do for students who dont grasp the concepts? For the students that who dont grasp the concepts, I would use the Reteach Mini lesson on pg 231. I would do this gathering in small groups; I will work with them independently as well if the group work is not working out.

5. Which part of the lesson, if any, do you think might need to change? I think this lesson can be modified by having students do an activity online that pertains to this lesson. I know there are websites for kids that can follow up or pre assess students for this lesson. 6. When you were writing this lesson plan, what was the most difficult part? The most difficult part of this lesson plan was deciding whether or not to do share writing. But, I thought to myself how else I can make writing more engaging and interesting. By, incorporating some technology into this activity, students would be more enthusiastic about it.
