Module 600 is constructed with a die-cast back plate/ballast housing and an extruded and mitered, one-piece refractor housing. Positive-action, single-point hidden latching, integral hinges and retaining cables sim plity maintenance and relam ping. Molded borosilicate glass refractor ls thermal shock-resistant and may be specified with an impacl resistant polycarbonate shield for optimum protection against vandalism.

Specifications.

Luminaire.
The luminaire shall consist of a rear die-cast back housing which encloses the ballast, lamp socket and reflector; and a refractor frame assembly.Ihe back casting assembly shall mou nt agalnst the wall (or pole) and the refractor housing assembly shallfasten to it by means of concealed hinges and a single point, positive acting latch. There shall be plated steel retaining charn attached between the marn housing and refractor frame- Overall dimensions shall be 16" square x 103/s" deep.

The pole shaft shall be straight square steel of 46,000 psi minimum yield strength, meeting ASTM designat on 4-500 grade B, continuously welded to the base plate.
