Regress creates luminous frame.

Holophane 7150 and 7250 lenses subtly create a new visual dimension in f luorescent lighting. They provide excellent light control through precisely formed cone prisms on the horizontal planes of the lens. Vertical prisms on the regressing sidewall form a soft, luminous frame within the luminaire, accentuating the rise from the ceiling plane to the lens plane. The 7150 and 7250 Controlens are injection molded. single-piece. lhreedimensional forms. Formation and cooling of the lens under clamping pressures as high as 2,500 tons enhance structural stability and precise light control capabilities.

Specifications.
Lenses shall be injection molded of clear acrylic plastic meeting the ASTN.4 specif ications for methacrylate molding compound D-788-69A. Overall dimensions for the 7150 shall be Overall dimensions for the 7250 shall be Central portions of the lenses shall be 8-25/32" x 44-29/32' aod 20-25/32" x 44-29/32" , respectively. Regress upward shall be 3/4". with sidewalls sloped at 25' from vertical. lnside surface of the sidewalls shall be smooth. Outer surface of the sidewalls shall be covered with vertical prisms 3/32" wide arranged in groups of 6 prisms. Groups shall be separated by a '1l16" plain space. The top surface of the flat portion of the lenses shall be smooth. The bottom surface shall be covered with a uniform array of conical shaped male prisms with bases 1/8" square for 7150 and 3/16" square for 7250. Overall thickness including prisms shall be 5/32" for the 7150 and 3/ 16" for the 7250. Conical prisms shall be symmetrical about the axis of the cone and shall have an open angle of 1 16" :t l/4'.
