TABLE 1
7.0 PLAN BASIS

Responsibility Matrix

The Heavy Lift plan is based on the following general items: The heavy, critical or oversized lift equipment items will be transported directly to the site or to the project lay-down area by the Contractor. If items are hauled to the lay-down area, they will be transported to the lift location by the Contractor. Equipment items are to be staged at the lift location in a manner to avoid interference with other units or general traffic. Heavy Lift preparations are not to interfere with construction activities in other contracts or with general access without making arrangements with the appropriate organization. The PMT will provide main Heavy Haul roads for access to the Contractors area. See drawing 100-YER-PE-P10-0001 Plot Plan for limits of the main heavy haul roads. All other site preparation for further transport or staging of equipment or support of the Heavy Lift cranes is the responsibility of the Contractors. The Contractors will be responsible for the heavy, critical, and oversized lifts for their scope of work. Studies are to be prepared for erection of the heavy, critical, and oversized lifts. These studies will follow the guidelines in the YERP Document 100-YER-CMC06-0031, Rigging Study Procedure Each Contractor is responsible for coordination with other Contractors in regard to traffic on in-plant roads and site areas during heavy lift execution. The YERP project management team (PMT) will be advised and informed of site road and area usage as part of the Contractors Heavy Lift Plan.
