Pete: Well, I started out early, but it was rush hour, and there was a lot of traffic. It took me thirty minutes to get to the shopping center. Then, the traffic lights near the shopping center werent working. I was stuck in traffic for about half an hour. Sara: half an hour? But youre three hours late, not one hour! Pete: I know, I know. I got out of town and got to the highway, but guess what. Construction! There was construction for about ten miles, and it took me about an hour to get off the highway. Sara: Oh no! I told you not to take the highway. Pete: Yes, I know, but Anyway, I got off the highway. I knew I was late, so I was driving pretty fast. But then there was a really slow car in front of me, and she was in the middle of the road, so it was difficult to pass. I cant stand it when people do that. Sara: And?
