Mrs. Sotomayor was nominated during a Jupiter-Neptune-Chiron conjunction in Aquarius. There is no hour of birth, but I drew her chart with Moon in Taurus, mostly by her looks and her childhood diabetes, which is signified by Venus, ruler of Taurus. The day she was nominated, May 26, 2009, transiting Pluto, ruler of MC was conjunct her natal Mars, in the 11th house. This portion of the horoscope also represents our hopes, dreams, and wishes. So for her, this was like a dream come true. There are many other positive angles showing this event, so I tend to believe that she will pass the vote of the Senate, and assume the position as the next judge of the Supreme Court.
