In order to register to be an IKEA FAMILY member, you must be a resident in Malaysia and be at least 18 years old, on the date of registration. Each person may only register and own 1 Temporary Card or IKEA FAMILY Card at any one time. This membership card is not transferable & can only be used by the rightful signatory. Temporary Card holders need to spend min. RM200* within 1 year from the date of registration in order to activate the full & permanent IKEA FAMILY membership. Failure to do so will render termination of the account and all Bonus Points earned. To capture transactions, enjoy FAMILY Range/Benefit prices and earn Bonus Points*, members must show their Temporary Card or IKEA FAMILY Card upon reaching the cashier and before a purchase is recorded. No Bonus Points or FAMILY Range/Benefit price will be awarded if a valid Temporary Card or IKEA FAMILY Card is not presented at the cashiers during payment. EveryRM1 spent at the IKEA stores entitles you to 1 Bonus Point. For Temporary members, Bonus Points earned will expire when theTemporary membership expires. For Permanent members, Bonus Points earnedwill expire 2 years later on 31 Dec, based on theyear the Bonus Points are earned. Example: : Points earned on 15 Nov 201 1 will expire on 31 Dec 2013. Points earned on 01 Jan 2012 will expire on 31 Dec 2014. Points earned on 16 May 2012 will expire on 31 Dec 2014. Points earned on 31 Dec 2012 will expire on 31 Dec 2014. Members may start redeeming with min. 500 Bonus Points for a RM5 IKEA FAMILY store voucher. Voucher redemption has to be done in multiples of 500 Bonus Points. Each voucher is valid for 3 months from the date of redemption. IKEA is not responsible for reinstating expired Bonus Points or vouchers. Each permanent member must swipe their IKEA FAMILY Card at the coffee coupon machine to print out their free drinks and discounted FAMILY meal coupon in order to enjoy this benefit at the IKEA Restaurant. A temporary member may only enjoy this benefit once, on the day of registration, using their Temporary Card. Each coupon entitles a member to 2x free coffee/tea/soft drinks and 2x discounted FAMILY meal. A permanent member can only print this coupon once a day, limited to 10 times within the first membership year. 10 additional coupons will be awarded for the next membership year if a member has spent at least RM500 in the current membership year. When a members Temporary Card or IKEA FAMILY Card is lost, stolen or when there is a change of personal particulars, member is responsible for informing IKEA either through the IKEA FAMILY website or in writing. If this is not done, IKEA will not be accountable for any consequences and loss of benefits and/or privileges. All terms and conditions of IKEAs Return Policy will apply to all purchases made by members. If a member refunds/returns any items for which Bonus Points have been credited, corresponding number of Bonus Points for the items returned will be removed from members account. A member is required to present the IKEA FAMILY Card when making a purchase refund at Exchange and Returns. If a member refunds items which are part of the transactions used for full membership activation, IKEA reserves the right to ask for additional purchases to be made within the next 30 days in order to meet the entry criteria. Failure to do so may result in the membership being revoked. In such cases, all Bonus Points will be cancelled and membership reapplication will be subjected to the existing entry criteria. The Temporary Card and IKEA FAMILY Card are issued by & remains the property of Ikano Pte Ltd. Ikano Pte Ltd reserves the right to decline issue of a new card or withdraw an existing card at any time. Ikano Pte Ltd reserves the right, on reasonable grounds, to alter and amend any of the conditions of the operation of the IKEA FAMILY programme without prior notice. Reasonable grounds include any abuse or attempted abuse of the IKEA FAMILY programme; use or attempted use of a Temporary Card or IKEA FAMILY Card in a manner which is contrary to these terms and conditions; and any reasonable suspicion or dishonesty on the part of a member in connection with the programme.

How am I rewarded when I shop in the IKEA store? Besides enjoying special lower prices on FAMILY Range products, every RM1 spent at the IKEA stores entitles you to 1 Bonus Point. Bonus Points earned in the current year will expire 2 years later on 31 Dec. What can I do with my Bonus Points? You can check your Bonus Points balance at the in-store FAMILY kiosk and may use them to redeem for vouchers. Every 500 Bonus Points equals to RM5 voucher. You may also redeem for vouchers if you login to www.IKEA.com.my/FAMILY, then print it at the FAMILY kiosk. Each voucher is valid for 3 months from the date of redemption. How do I check the Bonus Points that I have accumulated? You can check your Bonus Points balance when you login to the IKEA FAMILY website or at any of the in-store FAMILY kiosk. Please note that your Bonus Points balance will take 24 hours from the time of purchase to be updated in the system. Is there anywhere in store I cant use my IKEA FAMILY Card to earn Bonus Points? Yes, transactions at the IKEA Restaurant, Swedish Food Market and transactions regarding purchase of gift Cards, delivery, assembly, sewing and any other services provided by external companies will not be recorded nor will it earn you any Bonus Points. Can I purchase IKEA FAMILY products if I forgot to bring my Temporary Card or IKEA FAMILY Card? Yes, you can still purchase the IKEA FAMILY range of products but you will not be able to enjoy the lower price for IKEA FAMILY members and/or earn Bonus Points. Neither will you be able to enjoy your free drink or discounted FAMILY meal in the IKEA Restaurant. How can I find out what the current IKEA FAMILY offers are? These are on display in the IKEA FAMILY shop, in the IKEA FAMILY newsletter, and on the IKEA FAMILY website. Some will also be communicated in direct mailers, emails or SMS to you. How often is the IKEA FAMILY newsletter sent out? The IKEA FAMILY newsletter is published three times a year and we will mail a hardcopy to all active* members for free. If you prefer an e-copy instead, you may unsubscribe to receive a hardcopy and view the newsletter online.
* Member needs to have shopped at the IKEA store at least once in the past 12 months.
