YARN Rowan Purelife British Sheep Breeds DK A Mid Brown Bluefaced Leicester B Brown Bluefaced Leicester C Bluefaced Leicester D Bluefaced Leicester Marl NEEDLES One pair of 4mm needles CUSHION PAD 1 x 20 (50cm) machine washable square cushion pad. FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 50cm wide x 50cm long TENSION 22 sts and 30 rows in stocking stitch measured over 10cm using 4mm needles FRONT Using A and 4mm needles, cast on 110 sts. Work 22 rows in st st. Continue to work from chart starting with RS facing at chart row 23, adding in colours B, C and D when required and working the pattern in intarsia, until chart row 129 has been worked. With WS facing for next row work 21 rows in st st. Cast off. Sew in all ends neatly on the WS of work. 782 781 780 783 5 1 1 1 x 50gm x 50gm x 50gm x 50gm BACK Using A and 4mm needles, cast on 110 sts. Continue in st st until work measures 50cm or matches the front from cast on edge. Sew in loose ends neatly on WS of work. MAKING UP Press gently using a warm iron over a damp cloth. With RS of each cushion piece together, join by sewing neatly around the sides, leaving a 20cm gap in one side. Turn cushion to RS and place cushion pad inside the cushion and close the open end neatly. The whole cushion can be machine washed on 30 degrees, hand wash setting and a slow spin speed.
