Queens Borough President Installs Clinton Democratic Club Officers


The Clinton Democratic Club honored Queens Borough President Helen Marshall this month at their monthly meeting. The Borough President also presided over the installation the Clinton Democratic Clubs Executive Board, Board of Trustees, Young Dems and Club President Paul Vallone. She was once again treated Pictured: Queens Borough President Helen Marshall, CDC President Paul Vallone, District to a performance by the Leader MaryAnn Dorsa and Past President John Dorsa with members of the Clinton DeClinton Club Kids, and mocratic Clubs Executive Board, Board of Trustees and Young Dems. CDC President Paul Vallone presented a bouquet of flowers and thanked her for a lifetime of strong leadership, support of the Club and his campaign for NYC Council District 19. The former Speaker of the NYC Council, Peter F. Vallone also came to honor Marshall and highlight the many critical programs they accomplished together at City Hall. Councilman and Queens Borough President Candidate Peter Vallone, Jr., also saluted our Borough President and stated he once again has big shoes to step into if he is successful in his campaign. Other guest speakers include Sergeant Raymond Morales, who spoke about the city-wide Operation ID program. This initiative helps to register, then locate a lost or stolen cell phone or any electronic device. A simple text to the NYPD of NYPD to the number 22828 immediately begins the registration process. Erin Baumann of Forestdale, Inc., also addressed club members regarding the critical need for foster parents and volunteers in our communities. Forestdale is the only foster agency in Queens and has developed a program with the City to create a team approach to support children, parents and future foster families. President Paul Vallone wished everyone a joyous Easter and Passover celebration.

Clinton Club Kids Get the Celebrity Treatment

The Clinton Club Kids guest speaker was Karmen Haik, a celebrity makeup artist from Queens. She discussed the passion she has for her job and gave the kids makeup tips. Once again, congratulations to our Executive Board, Board of Trustees and Young Dems on being installed for another year of dedication and service. Thank you to everyone for all they have done for the club. Special thanks to Queens Borough President Helen Marshall for conducting the installation.
