PROJECT: SOA (SETTLEMENT OPERTATIONS APS ) CLIENT: Bank Of Newyork Mellon (Investment bank) Settlement of securities is a business process whereby securities or interests in securities are delivered, usually against (in simultaneous exchange for) payment of money, to fulfill contractual obligations, such as those arising under securities trades.

SOA application (Settlement operations aps) was developed to allow automated trade settlement reconciliation between the GSP system and the GTM system.

It allows the users to investigate the trade mismatches and forward them to operational departments as well as provides the management with operational reports on the state of the reconciliation and reason of the mismatches. The application has also been enhanced to handle special reconciliation for TPC clients. As such it is able to receive and import position files from Euroclear.
