Received a Letter of Appreciation from the COO of GEO TV for my services beyond the call of duty in projects that were initiated and carried out while the channel was facing the crisis due to the ban imposed on it by the government. Conceptualized, scripted, co-directed and acted in a short film submitted to the Kara Film Festival 2006. (Tick Tock/Portugal) The film received several nominations. Scripted and Co-hosted the entertainment evening for an international software exhibition/competition, SOFTEC 2005, held annually in National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, NUCES FAST. Over the course of my work with Geo Television Networks, I have been involved from the get go in projects that were considered conceptually and technically demanding, including but not restricted to conceptualization, pre-production, recording and extensive post-production of entire projects. Have worked as an integral member of large teams as well as supervising complex shoots. SPIDER Internet Magazine Oct 2004 to Jun 2006 CONTRIBUTING WRITER

Wrote the January 2006 cover story The Digital Divide. Had been assigned the responsibility for the interactive entertainment section of the magazine, including videogame reviews. I covered diverse topics as emerging technologies as well as their effect and influence on Pakistan. I also focused on the community altering capabilities of the Internet, especially MMOG's (Massively Multiplayer Online Gaming), which has now become a cultural phenomenon. Key Achievements: I was also among the first Pakistani technology journalists to put focus on the OLPC (One Laptop Per Child) Project, to which Spider dedicated a whole issue to.

CONTRIBUTING WRITER
I wrote extensively on new developments and their ramifications on the educational aspect of the Pakistani society. Projects that improved and enhanced traditional education as well as E-learning were my speciality.
