TOPICS COVERED:

CONTRIBUTION TO PROFESSIONAL COMPONENT:

Introduces students to analytical mathematical techniques and computational methods involved in formulation and solution of practical engineering problems.

POLICIES:

Final course grade will be based on a distribution relative to a computed class average. The standard university grading system will apply (see NMSU Undergraduate Catalog) . Students will be graded on class-work completed. Make-up quizzes will not be given. Late homework will not be accepted. Students missing a significant amount of class-work will be graded on final exam only. Students missing the final exam can be given a grade of I (incomplete) with the presentation of a satisfactory excuse prior to the exam. During lecture, please turn off all cell phone ringers. 1/23/13
