Based on EDU 3106 Culture and Learning project, there are three project tasks that need to be done. First task is finding the short video regarding the culture in Malaysia and provide observations and comparisons based on the video. In task 2, essay writing to justify why the teacher has a vast knowledge of cultural diversity in society in this country and the last task, require us to write reflective essay.

In completing task1, I faced some problem where I need to find short clip at least two different culture whether it their celebration, birth, marriage or death. I choose short video regarding celebration of Gawai Dayak and Kaamatan Festivals. From this video, I learn a lot especially about Kaamatan festival. This festival was considered new in my life because I never experience this festival before. Thanks to the video I learnt about this festival in detail. In task 2, I have note that the important if teacher knowing the culture around him. This is very important because teacher is the main role in school to be idolized by the students.

As a future teacher, it is crucial for us to know at least a small knowledge regarding the culture around us. We must well understand of this situation and able to apply it in classroom. Teacher can't simply go and asked the student not to celebrate the festival which they had inherited many years ago from their ancestor.
