Several different designs offer the user ways to enhance both the performance of the disc and the final results left on the workpiece. Choose from shapes in flat, 6 convex shape, or 12 convex shape. Flat discs are best suited for use on flat surfaces and on edges. Quick change discs are staple items in many production shops. They offer instant disc changes, are very effective for general purpose grinding, blending, deburring, and removal of weld beads and flash. Three popular styles are available - the Quick Disc Connect (QDC), the Quick Roll Connect (QRC), and the Quick Metal Connect (QMC). Each of our quick change discs types are available in aluminum oxide, alumina zirconia, and alumina zirconia with a dry lubricant added. QUICK DISC CONNECT QDC Discs have been one of the top performing quick change discs for over 10 years. They offer a heat-resistant backing plate that adds the perfect amount of firmness to make the grinding of many different workpieces possible. Mounting with the T locking mandrel adds stability along with a solid connection between the disc and the mandrel. QUICK ROLL CONNECT QRC Discs mount easily into our standard Quick Roll Connect holder pad with a simple half turn. The reusable holder pad is just firm enough to perform grinding operations, yet soft enough to offer a gentle touch to most workpieces. QUICK METAL CONNECT QMC Discs feature a metal locking device that simply twists into the holder pad. This system allows for grinding applications as well as touch-up to sensitive workpieces.

MOUNTED POINTS KLINGSPORs mounted points have been developed for safe, high performance use. Over 70 shapes and a variety of sizes, grits, bonds, etc. are available to suit virtually any metal grinding need, whether it be on ferrous metals or non-ferrous metals. CARTRIDGE ROLLS This wound style of abrasive point is quite effective for working in and around smaller ares. Straight and full taper types in aluminum oxide material are available for an all around good performer on all metal surfaces. CONVOLUTE WHEELS KLINGSPOR convolute wheels feature a dense, non-woven construction. They are smooth running, non-metallic, soft and smear-resistant thus creating less operator fatigue, offering no surface contamination, and providing faster stock removal. Perfect for blending of mill marks, cleaning parting lines, removing light flash, etc. TYPE 27 UNITIZED DISCS These unique depressed center discs offer a new grinding and finishing solution for the metal working markets. The ever-popular unitized material is bonded to a fiber-reinforced backing plate that offers stock removal options while leaving a pleasing finish. Use for edge breaking, deburring, cleaning, polishing, and final finishing. POWER WHEEL A great replacement for wire wheels and brushes, KLINGSPORs power wheel is perfect for clearing away surface contaminants, removing paint, cleaning weld discoloration, blending, and removing corrosion, rust and scale. SPIRAL BANDS KLINGSPOR cloth spiral bands are perfect for edge sanding or in and around holes on metals, wood, and on many other materials. These may be used on spindle sanders, drill presses, or hand held tools. Our standard spiral bands are made from our heavy aluminum oxide material.
