MEMORANDUM of agreement between Mr. ___________________________________________Muslim adult resident of

______________________________________________________and Mehran University of Engineering and Technology,
Khairpur Mirs, Campus made on _____day of ___________2013.
WHEREAS, Mr.___________________________________S/O____________________________presently employed as
__________________________(BPS) in the Department of ______________________, Mehran University of
Engineering and Technology, Khairpur Mirs, Campus (Hereinafter referred to as teacher / officer which expression shall
include his heirs successors and legal representative of the first part). On the recommendations of the Selection Board, the
Vice-Chancellor, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro. (Hereinafter referred as Vice-Chancellor
which expression includes his successors and legal representative of the other part).
The said teacher / officer is appointed as pure temporary ____________________(BPS) in the department of
___________________________________, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Khairpur Mirs Campus on
Rs.______________ per month in the Revised Basic Pay Scale of Rs._______________.
Now, therefore, in consideration for the said appointment, the teacher / officer agrees and under-takes to abide with the
following terms and conditions:
1.

He shall faithfully confirm to and abide by the instructions, issued with regards to his duties / assignments by the
Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Khairpur Mirs, Campus during his probationary period of
TWO YEARS and shall whole heartedly and diligently serve the University to the entire satisfaction of the
authority.

2.

He shall confine his activities to the afore-said field assigned to him by the said authority.

3.

The teacher/officer shall whole heartedly serve the Pro Vice Chancellor for a period of two years in the first instance
and in case the teacher/ officer fails to complete his two years service he will be liable to pay to the Pro-Vice
Chancellor a sum equivalent to his 12 (twelve) months basic salary or he shall pay the salary of un-served period as
liquidated damages and shall be liable to further disciplinary action as deemed fit by the competent authority.

4.

He shall refrain from engaging himself in any political / commercial or any other activities, which are not concerned
with his Profession as a teacher/officer.

5.

The teacher/officer shall be liable for disciplinary action in case of breach of any of the terms & conditions of the
said appointment order.

6.

On or after resuming his duties the teacher/officer shall not claim any higher pay or seniority over other colleagues
teacher / officers on account of higher qualifications etc.

7.

The teacher / officer shall be bound with rules and regulations in force or which may come in force in the University
and with the instructions issued to him by the University from time to time during his service in the University.

AND the teacher / officer hereby further covenants;

THAT, in case of breach of any of the above terms & conditions or his failure to serve the University, the teacher / officer shall
be bound to pay the liquidated damages to the University as per details specified in clause 3 supra.
The amount of liquidated damages as assessed by the University shall be final and co-collusive.

event of the teacher/officer making default in the payment of the same. I am aware that the afore-said
sum for the payment of which I hereby guarantee will be the sum equivalent to his 12 (twelve)
months salary or the salary of un-served period as liquidated damages.
