WHAT WE DO
The Uptown Music Collective
A 501 (3) non-profit school of music located in Williamsport, PA. An detailed educational program that enrolls students of all ages, but focuses on students who are 10-18 years old. An organization of experienced and educated musicians offering private lessons at all levels in guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, and vocals, as well as classes and workshops in music theory, songwriting, and styles such as Blues, Jazz, Classical, and Rock. A valuable member of the Williamsport community that hosts a series of community performances each year, including annual benefit concerts to fundraise for worthy causes.

Enhancing Students Lives

A UMC education creates the complete musician by teaching the important skills of leadership, communication, organization, dedication, and volunteerism. The UMC gives students a second home where they are given the opportunity to express and explore their own personalities, develop important relationships with gifted mentors, and to build life-long friendships with like-minded people.
