Quality is good. Market conditions are stable. Cauliflower markets are up with pulling from the West. Condition and quality are good and markets are stable. Florida corn is harvesting with good quality reported Markets are active as demand keeps pace. Cucumber supplies from Honduras are light, and markets will remain high until the Florida spring crop starts in earnest. Eggplant markets are up and quality is fair to good with supplies lighter, especially on fancy. Markets are still strong as supplies are light and quality is fair. There is hope warmer weather will help size up the remaining crop. Markets are steady. Good supplies. Iceberg quality is improved and weights are better. Volumes will increase and markets will settle further as Huron production increases. All lettuces are showing increased quality with stronger demand being met with ample supplies. Defects affecting Green Leaf are expected to improve, with volumes stable. Red leaf volume is stable as well. Romaine quality continues to improve as well, with limited cupping noted. Volumes will increase and markets will settle further as Huron production increases. Spring mix quality has stabilized. Supplies are good with good quality being reported. Stable supplies of most mushrooms with good quality. Sheds are beginning to finish up in the northwest area, putting pressure on markets. Texas availability is inconsistent. We are seeing sprouting on the old crop. Markets are stable with adequate volumes.

The crops have been affected by the frost. Florida product will be tight for the next week or two. Supplies are good with great quality. Supplies and quality have improved over the last week. Markets have stabilized with improved quality. Zucchini markets are off with supplies better from Mexico and Florida. Yellow Squash markets are easing as supplies increase. There is some activity in the Florida growing areas. Round Tomato markets are down; Roma tomato markets are about the same as last week. Cherries and Grape markets will settle after the holiday pull.

Berries Strawberries FL, CA Floridas cooler weather has prolonged the season by about two weeks. California markets are steady as Santa Maria and Watsonville volumes start with Oxnard as the major producer. Quality is good. Quality is good. Supplies are better on larger sizes. Markets are up on larger sizes with smaller sizes your better bet. Quality is good. Markets have stabilized. The new crop has started with smaller sizes trending. Larger sized markets remain strong. Expect markets to steadily increase over the next few weeks as the Navel season winds down. Larger sizes are tight. Green Grapes are seeing a two tier market reflecting uneven quality. Thompsons are fair at best. As for Reds, Crimsons are mostly shipping and there are plenty of Black and Globe Grapes available. Quality and volume are fine. Markets are firm and quality is fair to good. Honduras is getting started and this will help supplies. A decrease in demand is forecasted after the holiday pull. Supplies are improved as product arrives from Honduras and Mexico. Mexico is 40% lighter in volume than previous years. Quality has improved on seeded and seedless. Bosc, Anjou and Bartlett varieties are coming from Washington. Markets are stable with quality fruit. Supplies are consistent with good quality. Brix has been averaging 12% with average internal gold color.
