While for Arudhas I was taught that when the arudha starts working then the planet becomes afflicted. Dear Anil, Namaskar 1. It will spoil the bhava lorded by this graha, so the result from Dasa Rasi will show circumstances while from Lagna it will show Yoga (what will be afflicted). Instead I was taught that when Dasa Rasi comes to some graha it will spoil house in MKS from that graha/dasarasi. So if Moon is in Dasa Rasi it will spoil bhava eight from it. This is all in my article in Articles section. 2. Houses from Dasa Rasi shows circumstances, from Lagna it shows what is happening (which elements are afflicted/benefited). 3. Kula Devata ensures family auspiciouosness while Palana Devi ensures You can maintain your body, therefore its more personal and individual for each person in family. Dear Pooja , Namaskar Ghataka refers to suffering. The one with Ghata-Tithi gives emotional pain (for physical pain we see Lagna-Ghatak) to the partner, sometimes very unconciously. Health problems to spouse we see from 2,7 and 3,8 from Upapada Lagna in Rasi. The remedy is worshipping Bagalamukhi (offering with left hand yellow flower in Tuesday). Regards, Rafal Gendarz

Now: Shani in ninth house brings protection from people in general, but if its connected to Saapa, then this can turn out into problem, so whole Yoga is necessary to see. Shani in fifth from Lagna gives problems to our plans, rajayoga (when Lagnesh then it can act like Surya so its not so bad) and future and in that situation we advise worship of Sri Narayana to avert those problems. Eight lord in eight bhava will give spirituality (harsha yoga) and Moon will guide one into yoga/kundalini practice, but Shani being enemy of Brhaspati and Surya will hit the inteligence and health of the person. Worst curse is of Guru in fifth bhava (with Ishta Devata graha) and this should be remedied by Ganapati worship. hare rama krsna Dear Nalini , Namaskar #1 It can be Om Ganeshaya Namah (from VRA) or any other suitable Ganesha mantra like Om Gam Ganapataye Namah. For children in Mercury Naisargika Dasa mantra namo ganapate tubhyam jyesthajyesthaya te namah - is very auspicious as it has 6 words and 16 syllabeles (removing shadripus/tamas and giving energy to forth bhava - studies/learning). This will also help for Chaturthi-tithi which is lorded by Ganapati. #2 Vishnu Mantra: Om Vishnave Namah or mantra for Sri Rama (Buddha is in first drekkana). #3 Im very careful with changing original mantras, so if we are very concerned about mantra kriya and mantra bhoga we should research sastras and find those mantras instead of modyfing it. #4 If Buddha is in MKS then Ravi should be worshipped with Ghrini beeja - Om Hram Ghrini Ravaye Namah. Still its not big problem in this chart. #5 Yes, curse is in Vrscika-rasi and Ketu is wellplaced so Ganesha sadhana will take care of it. So while working with curses, You should first see (1) lord, then (2) bhava karaka and remedy should be based on that division. #6 Mantra devata is object of mantra, His placement in chart is seen by (1) counting number from mantra kriya to mantra bhoga and (2) the same number from mantra bhoga. Otherwise mantra Hare Rama Krishna is remedy for Bandhana. 2. I made a mistake. It is Ruby for Rahu in tenth, not Coral. 3. Om Dakshinakalike Namah (3 or at least 1 mala). Shaapa means curse, and in Your chart it is Brahmana-Shaapa which is curse of Guru/Brahmin. 4. Problem with money will disappear when the curse will be corrected, as Shani (engaged in curse) is in second from Lagna and lording 2 from AL. As Venus is 11L from AL in 12H from AL Moola dasa shows some investments which deplets bank account. Venus is also 2L in eight bhava giving monetary issues. Just do the remedies. Regards,

My navamsa is as follows: Lagna and Moon in Kataka; Saturn in Kanya; Mars and Ketu in Dhanur; Jupiter in Makara; Mercury and Maandi in Meena; Venus in Mesha; and Sun and Rahu in Mithuna. The Atmakaraka is Sun (Karakamsa is Mithuna); Amatyakaraka is Jupiter; and Bhatrikaraka is Mercury. In my Vimsamsa chart, Lagna, Jupiter, Sun, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu in Thula; Maandi in Dhanur; Mars in Makara; Venus in Meena; Mercury in Mesha; and Moon in Simha. If I understand correctly from all available readings, my ISTADEVATA would be Mahalakshmi and Parasurama. However as Venus is debiliated in Rasi, I need to worship Yakshini devatas also. Is this true? Second, Palanadevata (sixth house from Jupiter) would be Mercury who owns Mithuna, which also happens to be Karakamsa. Should I worship Mahavishnus avatar of Kalki? I do not subscribe Buddha as the Lords avatar as som literature indicate. Or since Sun and Rahu is placed in Mithuna and with the former having higher latitude, would it indicate I pray to Lord Rama and Siva? And as Dharmadevata, since Saturn is 9th Lord, I would have to worship Lord Kurma? Os Lord Shastha? Whom should I pray to as a Gurudevata (as seen from Bhatrikaraka)? Would it be Meena where Mercury is placed? In such a case, would it be Lord Rama or Lord Krishna? I also understand that if Sun and Rahu are placed in Karakamsa, the concerned person will die of snake bites. Is this true? Mars and Ketu are influencing it strongly. For ex, If Soorya is the lagna lord for Simha ascendants, and if Soorya is in Kataka, then you are saying that we need to chant Om Hram Ghrini Varunaya Namah. Why Varuna? How is Varuna related to Soorya in MKS? Similarly I would like to know the reasoning behind other Grahas and its corresponding Diety in the Mantra? Thanks -Anand

I request your kind guidance to read a situation where a planet though in MKS from some planet is well placed from lagna. Example, if 10th lord from Moon is placed in MKS (8H) from Moon itself but is well placed from lagna (say in 10H), how would the 10th lord fare? kleem namah narasimhaaya Dear Vijay, MKS is important from AK, even if graha is wellplaced from Lagna/Lagnesh the area will be problematic as the atma will reject all issues related. Therefore DK, Ju, 2/11 Lords in 7H from Mars AK cause Daridra yoga [financial problems]. In your example, its very good position, Malavya yoga destroy many doshas here. 5L in 10H is rajayoga and connected to 10L from Moon its very beneficial, lot of blessings unless Shukra is afflicted. But 10H will show also more self-work than others help, courses, training and skills will be important to progress in career. Check Shukra in D9 also - bhagya is very important. Mars (AK) yuti Venus(AmK)is in vargottama, placed in 10th house from D-9 Lagna again. (Female 06-03-1985, 1354 Hrs IST, 81E51, 25N27). There is no planet in 7H from AK so nothing in MKS, but AL does fall in MKS from AK. How to interpret it? Can the Jups debilitation in 11H from AK do bad for financial gains from profession? Is Zircon the same as American Diamond? Should the Zircon be charged with some mantra before wearing in R Hand ring finger. Even though no particular adversity is observed, the presently running ND of Tau-Tau has not yielded any benefit in the professional advancement. She is yet in a low paid temporary contract of job. Dear Rafalji, I am doing PhD in USA in mechanical engineering. You have advised me before about planets in Marana Karaka Sthana. Could you specifically look at my D-24 regarding my phds successful completion (when can i graduate?). I am fairly certain of my birth time, it is accurate within one minute. So D-24 lagna as well as rasi lagna should be accurate. Birth details are: 16th January, 1981, 5:34 pm, Lucknow, India. I have always been a very good student, studied in top colleges, always got very good grades. This situation is highly unexpected. I am extremely stressed since progress is very slow. The reason is my not so good communication skills. There is also a lot of politics going on, and I am unable to deal with it. You have attended to my postings earlier on this thread only, however Im posting my question again as it went unanswered, I can understand, owing to your busy schedule.. You had got my Dasha inaccurate, probably because of longitude-latitude error..My concern is my approaching period of Mercury, infact to repeat, my future being governed by 7th house planets, Me & Ve. Ill be writing my Civil Services Exams in Mercury period only and so the prime reason of my concern at this moment. Few observations about Mercury: 1)Mercury is in 7th i.e. 10th from 10th, and with strong Venusian influence! 2)Both Me and Ve are in Suns Nakshatra, Sun is 10th lord, so should it not fulfill the promise of Sun? 3)In both Navamsha & Dashamsha(even Shashtyamsha), Mercury has influence on 10th house. 4)Mercury is Gnati Karak and I read somewhere that for Rajyoga to fructify in Kaliyuga, at least one planet should be Neecha, preferably the Gnati Karak! Me is Neecha in Navamsha & Dashamshabut is that really helpful? 5)Mercury is very weak in Shad-Bal, will that not hamper its possibilities?

6)Since it is associated with Ve which denotes my Dharma Devata, worshipping Dharma Devata should help in giving good results in both Me & Ve periods. Now if you look at my Navamsha, ull see that Sa has effect on all the karaks signifying my deities like Ishta, Palan, Guru and Dharm Devatas.. Does it mean that just my Ishta Devata will play all the roles for me? 7)Me is ashtamesh and Ve is Dwadadesh and both placed in 7th house, a marak sthan! Is that horrible or some kind of Vipareet Rajyoga? If it is, at what cost? 8)Me and Ve are in 9th from Arudha Lagna! Does that mean they will give fortunate results in their period and once Arudha is activated?
