SAM CLICK We saw the digital space as an opportunity to expand on our concept and house this kinetic energy. The web is our most accessible and flexible touchpoint.

OUR M ANIFE S TO

We have built ourselves up over the last three years to become the class we are today. We all are a different part of a big collective group. Each bringing something different to the table. As a class we are are constantly changing, building on each others ideas, and in motion just like the creative eld. We are a kinetic layer.

MICHAEL VAN JUMPER

I incorporate digital means of visual creation by melding them with my analog process. Starting by hand to nuance my form and concept I then move into the digital world to edit, distort, and perfect my ideas. Even with complete digital creation dominating the current design trends I nd condence in my hands and their contribution to my process. mjumper@kcai.edu michael-jumper.squarespace.com

SAM CLICK In previous years we dont feel that weve really taken advantage of the immersive experiences that the web can provide. Utilizing rollover gifs, CSS animation, and embedded video are a few ways we can engage visitors for longer periods of time.

SAM Even after all of the online spaces the catalog still plays an important role. To make the catalog specific to our class we want to incorporate the hand of each designer by having their own analog mark within their spread.

LILLIE We wanted to utilize the massive amount of windows and sun light that we now have in our location. We wanted to turn the windows into our pixel blocks. We would like to use transparent window clings to give a layered affect. So what you see from the outside become changed when looking through to the inside and visa-versa.
