To our respective guests, faculty and staffs, proud parents, classmates, dear friends, ladies and gentlemen; in behalf

of the CASTE Department, allow me to greet you all a pleasant afternoon! Graduates, we marked this day as one of the most important events in our life. After surmounting the hardships we faced as we spent our college years in this institution, Agusan Collages, Inc our beloved Alma Mater; all of us come here as one to share and witness the happiness, triumph, and even the beauty of the individuals in toga and inspired faces in this very grandeur event, which is our graduation day! It is hard for my part to stand here in your front to deliver this speech I made. I wanted to refuse at first, but on the second thought, this is a very good opportunity to personally thank my mother for the undying love and support throughout times and to my siblings as well for the affection we all shared and for the financial assistance being lent. And the rest of the story all about it is yet untold. At first, enrolling BSE course is not my passion. When I was in high school, they asked me if I would like to be a teacher, and I said no. Why? It is because as a student, I observed the learning environment with diverse individual like: students have different characteristics, intelligence, economic background and such that made us different with each other. For me, I judged this profession as a tiresome work. Imagine, you need to deal with different situations and problems in school. I wonder how a teacher could manage and handle these differences all at once. But, when I experienced teaching IT, I started to love my students and I proved something that somehow I learned how to handle classroom situations. Thats the beginning why I am here in this stage, representing CASTE Department in BSE, sharing with you the blissfulness everyone feels in this very momentous event. Before we graduate, students in other courses must undergo on-job-trainings, and as student teacher we called it practice teaching. Since I am the only one in BSE course, I experienced difficulties, I was even sick for weeks because of so much stress. I have no one to mingle with to share ideas more in making lesson plans, instructional materials and any other activities required in this school. When I cried, laughed, worried I experienced it all alone. But, even with my sleepless nights and worrisome days, because I am scared that I cannot come up with the expectations and that I might failed in this subject I tried to build some courage and confidence to do my part. Even with my shortcomings, I did not take my pre-teaching for granted. I set a goal that when Im done with my practice teaching, somehow, the students must learn something from the lessons I taught them, and that I am very grateful to my critic teachers in high school department, principal and Dean of CASTE for their guidance. I learned a lot from their instructions. Graduation day is not an end for us to pour all of our rejoicings. But optimistically, it is the end where the beginning is soon to happen as each of us would like to stand in our own chosen field. We should prepare ourselves for the true essence why we held ourselves in this arena. To us, education students; if we would like to penetrate into the Department of Education we must persevere in order to pass in the LET exams. We need to read, and read and to read more. And if our prayers would be granted, we must apply what we learned from our instructors and of this institution. Graduates, help me express our profound gratitude to our instructors who shared their expertise and being the catalysts of our transformation. To our friends and classmates, thanks for the memorable moments we shared by all means. You also helped me grow and learned insights in life. To our parents, guardians, relatives; thank you for the financial, moral, and spiritual support. Your ways guide us to be what we are today. To our Alma Mater, Agusan Colleges, Inc., thanks for being the light of our great determination in life. To our Almighty God, thank you for your magnificent love which made everything possible. Once again, congratulations to all of us!
