A Humble Advice .....

Nadiadwala (Notes) on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at 10:06am A decade back when I was learning the correct way of the Prophet's prayer Sajid Abdul Qayyum gifted me a book by Albani, published by Sajid's Publication department. The book is a master piece by Shaikh Nasiruddin Albani. For those who are new to the term Nasiruddin Albani.. He is the Muahhadith of the highest stature in past four centuries after Suyuti. After reading the book I noticed an attachment by the Publisher (Sajid).. It had few pages printed as a clarification over an issue mentioned in the book. i.e. recitation of Surah Fatiha behind an Imam. I inquired from a another senior daee of Sajid's team and he winked at me and said : Sajid Bhai has corrected Shaikh Albani ! Sajid is like my young brother and he has some valuable obligations upon me. He has gifted some wonderful audio cds and books to me for which I will always be thankful to him. Last time during the "murtad controversy" Sajid was very vociferous in highlighting the issue. Later We received a letter from Shaikh Assimul Hakim.. a very noble and affectionate letter drawing our attention to the issue. Compare the two methods of approach. Shaikh Asim approached directly but upholding the manhaj of correcting a Muslim brother. Sajid also got an appointment when Dr Zakir visited Kuwait. Instead of presenting an open minded discussion , Sajid, without taking permission from Dr Zakir, started recording the conversation by putting small recorder over there. Dr Naik could have got up and gone away. Through out the discussion Sajid did not talk about the "Murtad Issue" , and Dr. Naik was also unaware of Sajid's notes being stuck on every wall of face book. Other wise he would have started the issue. Is this called Islah ? It is surprising that Sajid writes : Should we co operate with Dr. Zakir Naik? I would pose a humble question " who does the word WE refer to in your headline?" The scholars of Salaf who are using the Peace TV to promote Authentic teachings of Qur'an and Sunnah? If I understand it that way then Sajid is putting himself in the ranks of the scholars by addressing himself as WE? How many of his own companions would rate him parallel to Asimal Hakim and Salem Amry and Bilal Philips? I pray that Sajid reaches that level.. Inshallah..Or is he dictating Asim al Hakeem and Bilal Phiips and Shaikh Jafar Idris and Hussain Yee not to appear on Peace TV? If I understand the word WHO for the people of Qur'an and Sunnah, then do I understand from his statement that he is asking us to boycott Peace TV and not take deen from our salaf scholars? Let us not forget that there are millions of people learning deen from qualified scholars on Peace TV. Therefore all the options are un agreeable Sajid Bhai. What other type of co operation are you referring to ? These are the testing days for the people of Qur'an and Sunnah. In every latitude and longitude of the globe, the people of Qur'an and Sunnah are being looked down upon as fanatics and extremists. No body should deny that Dr Zakir Naik is a Knight of the momentum of Qur'an and Sunnah,. It really requires a lot of courage to put your self in the front of firing line when every deviated sect is after your honour and your Dawah. What is the duty of those sitting in the front benches in the classrooms of Dawah and Islah? Behave like class teachers ?

This was a little piece of humble advice to Sajid, after all he is my brother in deen and if Sajid can correct Shaikh Albani and Zakir Naik, I and the readers of Face book also have the right to correct Sajid..Over to you my readers..
