INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES
NOTE : 1. As soon as candidates have finished writing their answers and wish to give their answer books or at the end of the period prescribed for the particular paper of the examination, each should stand up and remain standing until one of the Hall Superintendents has gone up to the candidate and receive the answer books from the candidate. 2. The hall ticket and Copy of Instruction to candidates for the examination are enclosed. 3. Candidates must satisfy the Chief Superintendent as to their identity. 4. An Earnest Fee of an amount equivalent to the cost of a copy of Mathematical Table should be deposited with the Chief Superintendent by each candidate requiring the use of such books. The amount of fee paid will be refunded on the book being returned. 5. Any discrepancy in respect of name and initials should be immediately reported to the Addl. Controller of Examinations through the Chief Superintendent. 6. Candidates should write atleast 20 lines in a page on both sides of the answer book. 7. Additional answer - books must be sparingly used and will not be given solely as a matter of course. 8. Candidates are prohibited in possessing the Electronic Calculators, Electronic Digital Diary, Cell Phone and pager within the examination hall.

If the SBI Branch is not located in Candidate's area, a Demand Draft on any scheduled Bank payable at Madurai drawn in favour of The Registrar, Madurai Kamaraj University will be accepted. Money orders, Cheques, Treasury Chalans and Postal Order WILL NOT BE accepted under any circumstances. The fee once paid will not be refunded or held over for subsequent examinations. Candidates will be permitted to appear paper wise at subsequent examinations only. 3. Each Candidate appearing for the first time must submit his / her attested xerox copy of the Diploma / Provisional Certificate. In the case of other University, a copy of Communication granting recognition of the examination passed by them should also be submitted. 4. Note: The Centres outside the University area are fixed subject to the availability of accommodation and these centres may be shifted to another place if sufficient accommodation or sufficient number of candidates are not available in a centre. SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS WITH REGARD TO PHOTOGRAPH 1. One copy of the photograph should be pasted in the space provided in the application form and the other should be pasted in the space provided in the Identification Certificate attached with this application.
