The Metropolitan Area Planning Council annually presents a scholarship award in memory of Charles W. Eliot, II. Mr. Eliot was an advocate of regional cooperation, and he was especially interested in land use planning as it affected open space protection, land management, and other ecological issues. This scholarship is open to any senior in a secondary school in the 101 city and town MAPC region, who is planning to further his/her education in these fields. A cash prize of at least $500 will be awarded in the form of a scholarship to the school of the recipient's choice. The Doreen Carrabino McNulty Fund program was developed in 2011 to provide financial assistance to (male/female) Figure Skaters and (male/female) Hockey Skaters that demonstrate personal excellence on and off the ice. To be eligible the applicant must be pursuing a career that helps/serves others (ie: medical, education, police, firefighting, etc.) The scholarships will be awarded in May of each year. Scholarship winners are selected by a review board and are based upon the applicants accomplishments and leadership on the ice, involvement in the extracurricular and community activities, as well as their academic performance.

$1,000 for 4 years. You must applying to an accredited 2 or 4 yr. College and who has lived in Everett, Malden, Medford, Revere or Lexington for the past five consecutive years. Your intention must be to study banking ,financing, accounting ,business or a related field, along with the financial need are the primary consideration. See application for complete details. 2-$1,000 Scholarships will be awarded to a student attending a 2-4 year College/University or Technical School "to worthy and deserving boys and girls residing in the city of Malden or in the cities which have a said common boundary with said city of Malden for the purpose of providing full or partial tuition aid and scholarships for them to attend colleges and universities of their own choosing" Please see application in first floor guidance office for complete details. Application must be received in the First Floor Guidance Office no later that April 26th. The MHS Guidance Office is responsible for forwarding this application to Eastern Bank. The persons selected...shall be residents, at the time of selection, of cities or towns some portion of which is located within 10 miles of Malden. Please see application in first floor guidance office or attched here for complete details. ELIGIBILITY GUIDELINES: Applicant must be a resident of Medford. Applicant must be attending a 4 year college. Applicant must be in the Top 50% of class. ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATION IF YOU: Are majoring in the Food Service Industry. Have prior food service industry experience. Have prior employment history at Five Guys.

One scholarship in the amount of $1,000 will be donated to a senior at Medford High School planning to study full-time at an accredited two or four-year school. Student must be from the Wellington-Glenwood area of Medford. 2 - $2,000 Scholarships to catholic girls who have been a Medford resident for at least one year. She must be a senior in high school, who is planning to attend any college or nursing school in September 2008.
One $500 Scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior at Medford High School. Student must have a proven interest in business and a grade point average of 2.5 or better.

500-700 Word Essay Required on the following topic: Choose a leader from the 1980s that has impacted our world today. Explain how your generation has been affected by this individuals actions during that time period? Two scholarships in the amount of $500 each for one male and one female. Requirements are: MHS Senior, 2-4 year college/university and an essay describing if you were Head Master or the Superintendent of Medford Schools, what would you do to improve the quality of MHS.
6 - $1,000 Scholarships shall be awarded annually to a Medford student regardless if they attend public, private or parochial high school. Scholarships will be awarded based on need, scholarship ability, character and activities.

One $500 scholarship will be awarded to a MHS senior satisfying all eligibility requirements, who have achieved a cumulative GPA of not lower than a "B" (3.0 for numerical purposes) and who has demonstrated, by their involvement, a commitment to Community Service. 2-Mar Medford Lodge Of Elks 5 Scholarships available to Medford High School, Medford Vocational School and non-public high school students. See application for criteria. Student must be a graduating senior at Medford High School planning to study fulltime at an accredited four-year college or university. Situation of need suggested.
2 - $1,000 Scholarships shall be awarded annually by the MWYC who attend MHS. Scholarships will be awarded based on need, scholarship ability, character and extracurricular activities. One scholarship in the amount of $500 will be issued to a college bound high school senior. Applicants must show that they intend to include in their educational studies an interest in Italian language, history, culture or a foreign language. Also an interest in community, academic and/or social activities.

A Scholarship will be awarded to a MHS /Vocational 2010 senior in memory of Submaster P. Daniel Donovan by his seven children.
The Alumni Band is offering this award to honor the standard of excellence in music that is achieved throughout a band members high school years. This scholarship/award program is open to students with a serious interest in music or a related field. Awards will be made based on scholastic achievement, financial need, commitment, and musical ability. See application for more information. A $500.00 Scholarship will be awarded to a senior who plans to further their education by attending a two or four year college program. See application for details.
