INSHALLAH According to the Soofia, salaat is a supplication
to and speech with Allah, and therefore needs thorough
JAZAKALLAH. concentration, In case of other observances, we need not be
so attentive. For example, the essence of Zakaat is to spend
money for the pleasure of Allah. Spending, in itself is so
hard on a person that even if he does it inattentively he
would feel the pinch of it. Similarly, fasting requires giving
up eating and drinking and sexual satisfaction. All these restrictions
are in reality very hard, even if not observed by
proper attention and devotion. On the other hand, Zikr and
recitation of the Qur'an are the chief constituents of Salaat.
If these are not done intelligently and attentively, they can
make neither supplication nor speech. They are just like
Enjoy Praying Salaat!! the ravings of a person in high fever. which do not require
any conscious effort nor carry any meaning for the listener.
It is therefore necessary that we should be completely attentive when in salaat,
Worship Allah As He Deserves To Be Worshipped otherwise our salaat will be like the
talk of a person in his sleep, which carries no meaning for
the listener, nor any benefit accrues from it. In the same
way, Allah pays no heed to a salaat that is offered inattentively
and without concentration. But even if our salaat is
“Salaat is the coolness of my eyes” not up to the mark, as compared with that of the eminent
people in the past, we should not give up the practice. It is
absolutely incorrect to think that there is no use offering a

salaat unless it is perfect. To offer an imperfect salaat is far
better than to give it up completely, as this shall result in
punishments of a very drastic nature in the Hereafter. A
school of Ulama have declared that person to be a kaafir
who intentionally discards salaat
It is therefore imperative on all of us to make sincere
and genuine efforts to do justice to our salaat and pray to
Recitation,Transliteration & Translation Allah to grant us the ability to offer salaat similar to that of
the eminent people in the past, so that we may have at least
edited by Moulana Qabli one salaat of that nature to our credit for presentation
before Allah.

Watabaaraka Smoka Wata aalaa Jaddoka

Walaailaa ha Gayruk
Ilaahin naas
The Diety of mankind. Blessed is Your name and
Exalted is Your Majesty,
and there is none worthy of worship besides You.

Min sharril waswaasil khannaas

From the evil of the whisperer (devil who whispers evil in the
hearts of men)who withdraws A U dho billahi minshaytwa nirrajeem
(from his whispering in one's heart after one remembers
Allâh). I seek refuge in AIlah from Shaytan the accursed

Bismilla Hirrahmaa Nirraheem

Alladhee yuwaswisu fee sudoorin naas

Qul yaa ayyuhal kaafiroon

Angels, in His Books, in His Messengers, in the

Allaahus samad
Allah is Independent
Laa a‘ budu maa ta’ budoon
I worship not that which you worship.
Lam yalid walam yoolad
He has no Children and He is not anyone’s child.

Walaa antum ‘aabidoona maa abud

Walam yakullahu kufuwan ahad Nor Do you worship that which I worship.
And there is none equal to him.

Walaa ana ‘aabidummaa ‘abattum

And I shall not worship that which you are
worshipping.

Walaa antum ‘abidoona maa ‘abud

Nor will you worship that which I worship.

Lakum deenukum waliya deen

 Attahiyyaato Lillahe Wasswalawaato Wattwwayyebaat
All reverence, all worship, all sanctity are only for Allah
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem

Assalaamoalayka Ayyohan Nabiyoo Warahmatullahe Wabarakaatuh
Peace be upon you O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings
Innaa ‘ataynaakal kawthar
Verily, We have granted you (O Muhammad Assalaamoalaamoalaynaa Wa-alaa Ebaadillahisswaliheen
(Peace be upon him)) Al-Kauthar (a river in Peace be upon us and all the righteous servants of Allah
Paradise)(Abundant Good).
Ash-hado Allaailaaha Illallaaho
I bear witness that none Is worthy of worship besides Allah

Fasalli li rabbika wan-har

Therefore turn in prayer to your Lord and Wa-ash hado anna Muhammadan Abdo hu Warasu Luh
sacrifice (to Him only). and Muhammad is His slave and Messenger

Allahumaswalle Alaa Muhammad

O Allah shower Your mercy upon Muhammad
Inna shaani aka huwal-abtar
Indeed is your enemy (O Muhammad (Peace
be upon him)), - Wa-alaa-aale –Muhammad
who will be cut off (from every good thing in And on the family of Muhammad
this world and in the Hereafter).
Kamaa Swallayta A laa Ibraheem
Wa a laa aale Ibraheem
as You showered Your mercy upon Ibrahim and
the family of Ibrahim

Innaka Hameedummajid
Verily, You are praiseworthy, glorious..

Siraatal ladheena an ‘amta ‘alayhim Wamin sharrin naffaathaati fil ‘uqad

The Path of those on whom You have bestowed Your And from the evil of those women when they blow in the

 Allahumma Baarik Alaa Muhammad Wa A laa Aale Muhammad
O Allah shower Your blessings upon Muhammad and

Allahumma Inni Zwalamto Nafsi

O Allah I have been extremely unjust to myself

Wa Innahu Laa Yag Firuzzunuba

Illa anta
and no one forgives sin but You therefore
forgive me with
Mag Firatam Min In dika War Ham
Ni Innaka
forgiveness that comes from You and have Mercy upon me, Verily,
Antal Gafoorur Raheem
You are the Forgiving, the Merciful
Assalaamoalaykum Warahmatulla
Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah
Allahumma inna nasta'inuka wa nastaghfiruka, wa nu'minu bika,
wa natawwakkalu
alayika, wa nusni alayikal khaira, wa nashkuruka wa la nakforuka
wa nakhla'u
wa natruku manyafjoruk. Allahumma iyyaka na'budu wa laka
nusalli wa nasjudu
wa ilayika nasa wa nahfidu, wa narju Rahmataka wa nakhsha 'adhzabaka; inna
adhabaka al-jidda bi al-kuffari mulhiq
O Allah! We seek Your assistance and ask for Your
forgiveness,(and ask for your guidance) and we believe in
You and place our trust in you. We attribute all goodness to
You. We are grateful to You and refuse to be ungrateful to
You. We abandon and forsake all those who reject You. O
Allah, You alone we worship, unto You alone we pray; unto
You alone we prostrate, and Unto You alone we flee for
refuge and for You alone we strive. We cherish hope in Your
mercy and we fear Your punishment. Verily, Your punishment
is bound to catch up with those who reject the truth
 ﴾ ِ‫سمِ ال ّلهِ الرّحْمَـ ِن الرّحِيم‬
ْ ‫﴿ِب‬

َ‫ع الْيَتِيم‬
ّ ُ‫ َف َذِلكَ اّلذِى َيد‬- ِ‫ت اّلذِى ُيكَ ّذبُ بِالدّين‬
َ ْ‫﴿أَرَ َءي‬
َ‫ي الّذِين‬
َ ّ‫ َف َوْيلٌ لّلْمُصَل‬-ِ‫سكِي‬
ْ ‫ َولَ يَحُضّ عَلَى َطعَا ِم الْ ِم‬-
َ‫ اّلذِي َن ُهمْ ُيرَآءُونَ َويَمَْنعُون‬-َ‫هُمْ عَن صَلَـِت ِهمْ سَاهُون‬
﴾ َ‫الْمَاعُون‬
Have you not seen him who denies the
day of reckoning- That is he who pushes
the orphans away- And who does not
encourage the feeding of the poor. So,
destruction be for those worshippers who
﴾ ِ‫سمِ ال ّل ِه ال ّرحْمَـنِ ال ّرحِيم‬
ْ ‫﴿ِب‬ neglect their Salaat, those who are
ostentatious (show off people) – And
﴾ ِ‫﴿بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرّ ْحمَـنِ الرّحِيم‬ who refuse even minor articles / things

- ٍ‫ج َعلْ َك ْيدَ ُهمْ فِى تَضْلِيل‬ ْ َ‫ أََل ْم ي‬- ‫ب الْفِي ِل‬ ِ ‫صحَـ‬ ْ َ‫ف َفعَلَ َرّبكَ ِبأ‬ َ ْ‫﴿َألَ ْم َترَ كَي‬
‫بعَهصَْـفٍذَا‬
ّ‫ُواُْهمَْر َك‬
‫جدعَ َل‬
َ‫لَْيفَعُْب‬-َ‫ ف‬-‫فِّي ٍل‬
‫ِه َتمْرْمِرِيحهْ َلِمةَ ِبالحِشّجتَاَآ َرءِ ٍةومَالّنصّيْسِج‬-ِ‫َـف‬‫بَاإبِيِيل َل‬-‫شْرا َأ‬
ٍ ‫ف ِه ُقمْرَيْطَي‬
ِ‫وَأَ﴿ْرلَسِيللََـعَلَ ْي‬
﴾ ٍ‫ع وَءَامََنهُم ّمنْ خوْف‬
ٍ ‫ الّذِى أَ ْطعَ َمهُم مّن جُو‬- ‫ت‬
