Headquartered in Raleigh, NC with locations throughout the US and partners in 80+ countries. The Meal Packaging program of Stop Hunger Now allows volunteers to package high protein, dehydrated meals for use around the globe in school feeding programs. Stop Hunger Now uses a strategic approach to turn its vision "A World Without Hunger" into a reality. My 1st year, Raleigh alone packaged 3.4 million meals in 234 event engaging 20,000 volunteers. I worked with schools and orphanages around Addis Ababa, Ethiopia teaching English, values, music and art to children in the 1st through 6th grades. Our goal was to show kids that they have potential to do better in life. Taught English to 50 children 3 hours each day In six weeks I taught 110 children four songs in English, which they performed for their parents at the end of the school year. Responsible to introduce new volunteers to Addis Ababa Coordinated a 10 day trip to northern Ethiopia for 8 volunteers

Woodlands BBQ, Blowing Rock, NC August 2008- April 2010 Food Server Worked at this small, yet very popular, BBQ restaurant for part of my college career as a means to obtain spending money. This place became my home away from home with a family like work environment. YMCA of the Triangle Camp Program Director

The YMCA has had a big impact in my life. I worked my way up from a simple camp counselor to program staff and finally program director. I strived to create a fun and safe environment for children to come and enjoy day camp and after school programs. As program director we achieved the highest participation rate ever for camp up to that date.
