TECHNICAL POINTS TO BE CHECKED WITH TANKER

1. Design pressure of tank (should be minimum 25 BAR) 2. Working pressure (should be minimum 17 BAR) 3. Total filling capacity in liters 4. Maximum filling capacity = 85 % of total filling capacity 5. Roto gauge (% LG) is in working condition 6. Tanker is tested as per schedule or in case of repair after an accident 7. Minimum two pressure safety valves are must 8. Pressure gauge (range 0-25 BAR) & temperature gauge (0-60 Deg.C) are available and in working condition. 9. Test certificate of pressure safety valves & excess flow valves of liquid & vapour 10. Earthing jumper at each flange joints 11. No signs of leakage from fuel tank 12. No signs of leakage from tanker body or flange joints 13. All flanges are in good condition. 14. All flange joints and valve (with operating handle/spindle) condition is satisfactory 15. Minimum four wheel chocks (wooden wedges) are available 16. Before loading, Earthing connection at front and back side provided 17. Before loading, Roto gauge level should be zero and pressure should be 5-6 BAR.

If above conditions fulfilled, allow tanker for loading under close supervision.
