Objective:

The objective of this project is to develop an career networking website with a recruitment site, which is a modern way for the employers to advertise the latest job openings in their organization over the internet. This project also facilitates the jobseekers to interate and follow with their professional network, search jobs and apply for these jobs online. This project will provide the employers with low budget cost effective resume search and job posting options for the companies to best fit their job requirements. Hiring and Firing of the candidates are not in the scope of this project.

The administrator of the site can delete any existing User, can delete any existing Job, and manages the website. The administrator can also Backups and Restores the database.

What a jobseeker has to do? He has the facility for viewing the jobs online with optimal details a jobseeker would require, view employers information, uploads, copy and paste or build a resume online to be able to get in a search results of employer.

What an employer has to do? He has the facility for viewing the resumes of the jobseekers online with optimal details, can post a job, can edit a job or he can delete a job he has posted for the jobseeker.

The main objective of this project is to facilitate the jobseeker and employer to make online job searching and resume searching from any location, by using the internet and have no need to go to the offices or to get connected with hiring companies.

Description : (Modules)

1. Admin Module

Administrators having given full control over the website, structure and content management, detailed user management, search engines reports, statistics and many others. Administrator can do following activities:

Viewing members. Emailing members. Deleting members. Adding ads. Setting up pricing plans.

Setting up new admin accounts. Direct access to Statistics. Adding subcategory to main category through admin. Super-admin have privilege to make new admin (advanced admin, restricted admin), activate deactivate them. Super-admin can set permission to new admins for setting up jobseeker or employer. If new admin have permission for setting up jobseeker then he can not see employer section. At employer section there is provision for featured employee. While adding new category this category may or may not show on home page by enabling or disabling feature option. Adding jobseeker. Adding employer. Setup plans.

2. Employers Module:

Employers administration space that provides the facilities where you can post job ads, manage their company profile, search the database with the jobseekers resumes and many others. Employers can do the following activities:

Email to selected jobseekers. Bookmark jobseekers resumes. Job Posting Interface. Online Job Edit. Search Jobseekers. Automatic access upon registration for fee. Upload / Attach Image to their profile. Profile Editing, Forgot Password. Listing for job applies and email to jobseekers. Payment Plans and Options for Job Postings and Searches.

3. Jobseekers Module:

Jobs seekers administrations having the functionality to upload their profile, edit their profile, view the entire job offers . Job seekers can do following activities:

Online facilities of filling registrations form/ signup. Intreact with friends and colleagues Send friends request or follow friends Free Resume Posting. Resume Posting Interface. Online Resume Edit. Search Job Listings and save the desired jobs. Upload / Attach Image to their resume. Bookmark jobs.

Employers Features. Job Posting Interface. Online Job Edit. Search Jobseekers. Upload portfolios video,images etc Forgot Password. Payment Plans and Options for Job Postings and Searches. Automatic access upon registration. Upload / Attach Image to their profile. Provision to search job by category, in bracket No of job posted is given. By chosen jobs category options form the list, jobseeker can submit a cover letter, and then this cover letter along with his CV sends to employer of selected company through mail. Acknowledge mail sends to jobseekers also.

Software/Hardware Requirement Specification:

Software requirements specification is a specification of requirements for the software product. The goal of software requirements definition is to completely and consistently specify the technical requirements for the software product in a concise and unambiguous manner.

During analysis we found the minimum s/w and h/w requirements for the proposed system are as follows:

Aim: To design a web portal for job seekers and employers Abstract: Our goal was to develop a web portal for job seekers with a user-friendly interface and which has various interactive features like news, newsletters, member forums and testimonials by professionals. Background: Our client, one of the leading recruitment agencies approached us with the development of a highly feature rich and interactive job portal that would enable job seekers and employers to finding perfect matches for their requirement. They wanted us to develop not only a job seeking portal but a knowledge sharing portal through its various informative tools like news, newsletters, success stories of professionals, member forums and other career resources.

Objectives: Some of the objectives that our development team had to achieve were:

Design and develop highly effective management system for the website Design a user-friendly interface Segregated search option for the users on the basis of industry, country, keyword etc. An advanced administration panel for easy management of the job seekers as well as employers profile Interactive website with informative tools like newsletters, career resources Member engagement through forums Solution: The website developed by our web developers provided a common platform for job seekers and employers with job vacancies. A search option was embedded into the website enabling the job seeker to search for the required job on the basis of industry, location or country. The website is highly scalable and caters the users with ultra-refined search results. The website design allows the job seekers to post their resumes and employers to post the jobs on the portal. The website also features a dual log-in system for the job seekers as well as employers.
