Kindly refer to your letter dated 30.08.2012 addressed to former

Hon'ble Minister of Culture, Kumari Selja, seeking reply for Rajya Sabha Unstarred Question No. 3590 for 09.05.2012 regarding "Grants given to Rajiv Gandhi Foundation".

Since the information for making a reply to this question was to be collected from all Central Ministries, an assurance was given in Rajya Sabha that the information was being collected & would be laid on the Table of the House. Secretaries of all the Ministries have been requested to furnish their i-eply to this question and the same is auraited from them'

Meanwhile as per practice, Committee on Parliament Assurances, Rajya Sabha has been requested to allow extension of time for a period of six months from 9.8.12 to 8.2.2013 to fulfill the assurance as the collection of information requires time. lf input is still not received from all sources, further extension of time would be sought from Rajaya Sabha Secretariat. An Assurance Fulfillment Report would be submitted to that Report the Secretariat when input from all sources is received. This is for vour kind information, Please.
