INTRODUCTION

The Hachiko bar and restaurant was started to build when five students of Hotel and Restaurant Management decided to create their own restaurant.They create the name Hachiko.As they are watching the movie entitled HACHIKO they think that they can make it as the name of their business. The word Hachiko comes from the two word hachi means eight, a number referring to the dogs birth order in the letter and ko means prince or duke. For them, eight means endless like the infinity sign. Its really perfect for the business. We do the brainstorming wherein all of us think of the best for our business. From the business itself up to the service were

giving. We always wanted to treat our customers very special that we do anything to satisfy them. Our goal is to reach what our customers wants and needs. Hachiko will become a great restaurant that people looking for. What we do for our customers, we always put in our mind that our priority will always be them. Just to know the summary of the name Hachiko.

In 1924, Hidesabur Ueno, a professor in the agriculture department at the University of Tokyo, took in Hachik, a golden brown Akita, as a pet. During his owner's life, Hachik greeted him at the end of each day at the nearby Shibuya Station. The pair continued their daily routine until May 1925, when Professor Ueno did not return. The professor had suffered from a cerebral haemorrhage and died, never returning to the train station where Hachik was waiting. Every day for the next nine years the dog waited at Shibuya station.Hachik attracted the attention of other commuters. Many of the people who frequented the Shibuya train station had seen Hachik and Professor Ueno together each day. They brought Hachik treats and food to nourish him during his wait. This continued for nine years with Hachik appearing precisely when the train was due at the station. His faithfulness to his master's memory

impressed the people of Japan as a spirit of family loyalty all should strive to achieve.

Teachers and parents used Hachik's vigil as an example for children to follow. A well-known Japanese artist rendered a sculpture of the dog, and throughout the country a new awareness of the Akita breed grew. This shows how the hachiko the movie hit most of the people that are pet lover. Eventually, Hachik's legendary faithfulness became a national symbol of loyalty, particularly to the person and institution of the Emperor.

Hachik died on March 8, 1935, and was found on a street in Shibuya. In March 2011 scientists settled the cause of death of Hachik: the dog had terminal cancer and a filarial infection (worms). There were also four yakitori sticks in Hachik's stomach, but the sticks did not damage his stomach or cause his death. Hachik's stuffed and mounted remains are kept at the National Science Museum of Japan in Ueno, Tokyo.

In April 1934, a bronze statue in his likeness was erected at Shibuya Station, and Hachik himself was present at its unveiling. The statue was recycled for the war effort during World War II. In 1948 The Society for Recreating the Hachik Statue commissionedTakeshi Ando, son of the original artist, to make a second statue. When the new statue appeared, a dedication ceremony occurthe new statue, which was erected in August 1948, still stands and is an extremely popular meeting spot. The station entrance near this statue is named "Hachik-guchi", meaning "The Hachik Entrance/Exit", and is one of Shibuya Station's five exits. The Japan Times played a practical joke on readers by reporting that the bronze statue was stolen a little before 2:00 AM on April 1, 2007, by "suspected metal thieves." The false story told a very detailed account of an elaborate theft by men wearing khaki workers' uniforms that secured the area with orange safety cones and obscured the theft with blue vinyl tarps. The "crime" was allegedly recorded on security cameras.

A similar statue stands in Hachik's hometown, in front of date Station. In 2004, a new statue of Hachik was erected on the original stone pedestal from Shibuya in front of the Akita Dog Museum in Odate.

The exact spot where Hachik waited in the train station is permanently marked with bronze paw-prints and text in Japanese explaining his loyalty.

Each year on April 8, Hachik's devotion is honored with a solemn ceremony of remembrance at Tokyo's Shibuya railroad station. Hundreds of dog lovers often turn out to honor his memory and loyalty. In this way, they showed how great hachiko is. We are about to give them what hachiko has done for his master. In order for the customers to give the service back to us. In connection to our business, we will provide honesty and loyalty for our customers. Honesty for the foods and beverages that we will be giving. And to give them satisfaction to whatever service we have. We provide many security measures all over the place wherein we put the safety of our customers first. We installed a lot of CCTV camera and assigning a security guard in the entrance and even in the parking lot also for security of our customers auto. About our employees, we get them from the registered agencies. We assured that they are trained and gone through legal process just to be safe not only for us but also for the safety of the name of our

restaurant. We always put the safety of our establishment to cope up to what we want for our business and for it to grow. We are looking forward to many branches that we are putting. We are hoping to gain more especially that it is the first business that we are engaged into. As what they are saying, Every drop counts, every single comment is very important for us. We expect that it will be very successful. The important thing is that we, as the owner of the business, should be responsible for everything that might happen. We all know that no one can speak what our business future is. But all we want is to success and spread our business ideal not all only here in the Philippines but also internationally. We, as a businessman and businesswoman we want to recognize that Filipino can do not just amazing but extremely ideas in terms of cooking. We can make a different cuisine that we surely hit the international taste of people from the other country. And we can say that Hachiko restaurant will be one of those restaurants that will give an honour and proud in our country in terms of making a new food that will trends worldwide. We believe that the best way to have an extraordinary and ideal food or recipe is to do all those things with love or in other word it should come from the heart. The Hachiko restaurant has only a simple message to our beloved customers, as shows on the movie, we, as the owner of hachiko

restaurant will have a loyal and greatness loyalty service to all the people. A dogs story really inspired us, as what we want to give to our customers.This business that we build was not just for us, but it is also for our family. They are our main inspiration to make this thing works. Maybe because we want to help them in a way we can. Especially to our parents, as a return to what they have done for us for so many years. They are always there for us no matter what. So hopefully it will be successful because we offer this to them. The Hachiko Bar and Restaurant was not just only for adults but also for kids. We offer foods and beverages for children that they will surely enjoy. At daytime, it will be a simple but terrible restaurant in our place. In night time, it will be a restaurant with bar. Persons at legal age can go here to have some party, for them to be relaxed from their work. We also hire a bartender to do some mixing and flairing for our customers. We have also a function hall wherein you can celebrate different occasions. We are also offering packages for bulk orders. And we have delivery services. The differences of our restaurant from the others are through how we communicate and build our relation to the customers in a way that we can treat each other just like a long - time friend. We will do in our business to be friendly even us and the staff. We want for our customers to frequently back on our restaurant and continuously

enjoyed the ambience of Hachiko restaurant that will surely touch the heart of each and every one. Our restaurant will surely marked on the heart of our beloved customers as a great and extraordinary in terms of foods and services. Weve got here all the best and possibly seen in other restaurant so we know that it will click in all the people even to those people who not been not yet know some cuisine that is usually made or originally made of our own. The group of companies that are involve in this business are those who has an experienced in this profession which the technique of our group or our on way to success, because we know having an advantage in such business can help us to reach all the goals that we set for our restaurant. Thats why our team positively believe that this will going to be successful because were just not having the best member of a team, not just having an advantage as a technique, but the loyalty and love to what we are doing, were just enjoying while making this business on top. The location that we chose depend on how people live and their lifestyle so that we will know what to do, what to plan and how we will make them happy. We know that the place or location is one of the important thing in making or building up a business. Before we make a decision, we searched so many things about finding a place for a particular business which exactly also help our business and not just to

turn out nothing. We dont want our efforts and time just goes to waste. Simply, we want to find a location that is fit to what our business can offer to our future customers. A place wherein we can really express what we prepared for a long time. Our location fit the foods we prepared. We already get the best suppliers that we can for the business. Especially that we are handling food. The food was based more on the people around the place wherein they will surely buy the food. But then, we care for the safety of the people. Securing about what they will be buying and making them feel comfortable about the place. The facilities that we have is very beautiful thinking about the warmth feeling of every person that will come in, especially the function halls that we have and the dining where our customers will eat. And our bar is very relaxing for the person who wants to be relaxed. We all made this possible for every person who wanted to have some fun and enjoyment. Our business fits whatever person you are, or whatever group of people you are belong. It is not about what they have paid for but it is about what happiness we have made for them. We have made this far for our business future. And we will do anything just to make our business travel so far. Everyone wanted to be successful, thats what we wanted to be. We already gave the best that we have in ourselves. The workforce who thinks about the

customers satisfaction. We are hoping that the people will acceptwhat we have. And what we have worked for. Weve got the best here at Hachiko Bar & Restaurant.

Business Proposal

Hachiko Bar & Restaurant Is come from the movie Hachiko- a dogs story. Just like how the other reacts on the movie, we were touched and inspired to it. We used it as a name of our bar & restaurant to apply what the movie wants for the viewer to know an information or idea like being loyal and honest to his master. Our business wants to give our future customer loyal and honest services that we can give to them as long the management can give.

Objective of the Study The main objective of the firm is give quality food and services that can mare or customers satisfy.

Importance of the Study In surveying, researching and studying the place that going to be the location of the business is a big thing to make the business successful. In this study the things that were needed to mare our business to be successful iwillbe shown on the rest of the chapters.

Scope and Limitation of the Study The Hachiko Bar and Restaurant is available to all ages. In the morning we have variety of food which good for the health of the Filipino people and at night the bar area is still open for the happenings that all the people are welcome like the college students and other types of people.

Methodology The method were using in our restaurant is ala-carte service, because we would like to give a full relaxation and enjoyment to our beloved customers.

Products We offer different products like the best seller of our restaurant the Special Spicy Hachi Tapa, the certified hottest tapa ever in the Philippines and other different meal. And our bar that compose of different liquors and liqueurs. Services We offer different services. Like a buffet in our restaurant and Bartending and Flair tending show in our bar. We also accept delivery with no delivery charge. Service Delivery

Market Study
This chapter presents the important details about the marketing aspects of the proposed business. Ideals with the study of products and service description, target market, pricing strategy, projected demands projected in come and marketing program. Market is the most important factor in every business. It is important for the reason that it is source of profit of every company, and the reason that the firm helps to continue its existence and operation. Product/Service Description

Target Market The Hachiko Bar and Restaurant was not just only for adults but also for kids. We offer foods and beverages for children that they will

surely enjoy. At daytime, it will be a simple but terrible restaurant in our place. In night time, it will be a restaurant with bar. Persons at legal age can go here to have some party, for them to be relaxed from their work. We also hire a bartender to do some mixing and flairing for our customers. We have also a function hall wherein you can celebrate different occasions. We are also offering packages for bulk orders. And we have delivery services. Demand Analysis According to our survey, out of 10 customers 9 of it are referring to a bucket of beer. It is widely known in all the restaurants inside the BF Homes. The distinction of the way we give a bucket is it is compose of 6 bottles of beers and Picka-Picka wherein you are free to choose any variants of Picka-Picka. Marketing Strategy Hachiko Bar and restaurant has different marketing strategist like, we have different promos in every meal and packages that they buy. We have a free gift certificate worth of (1) one bucket of beer and Picka-Picka in every 10 orders of buckets of beer and if there is an occasion that they held in our bar and restaurant. We also offered kiddie meal and student meal for them to to enjoy staying in our restobar.

Promotions With regards to our promotions, we have many ways to get our customers attention. We have the student meal, wherein the students have discounts for their meal. And the 10 + 1 promo for group of persons who wants to dine in, they can avail our promo if they reach the 10 persons needed. Then for our bar discount if you have ordered at least one bucket of beer you will receive an additional one beer. For our catering service promotions, we are about to contact some establishments to promote the services that they can avail. We are catering foods to any place and we are offering our resto-bar to celebrate their occasions with us. Party Hour All bar and restaurant must have a time to have a party. In Hachiko Bar and restaurant the happy hour will start at 10 pm in the evening until 2 am in the morning. At those times the guest is free to do whatever they want to do on the dance floor. They have a showdown, love dance and they can use the stage and our D.J. is available if they have some special request. Live Music The Hachiko Bar and Restaurant is mostly using live music in the time of happy hour and some events. And also the Hachiko Bar and

Restaurant has some sort of celebrity band guest every Saturday and Sunday. In our live music the guests are free to have their special request to the band that they can dedicate to their special someone. Our live band music will start at 8:00PM until 10:00PM.

Chapter 3

Technical Feasibility
Service Description We are offering different services. As our business main service is the Ala Carte, this is all about the food that we offer for our future customers. We also have catering services wherein we are accepting any kind of events such as wedding, baptismal, birthdays, even formal events like meetings, business proposal and opening. Our catering services are good for 1500 pax which is not bad to reach our customers need.

Operating Service Hachiko Bar &Resto is operating in time of 8:00-2:00 a.m. It includes the Breakfast, Lunch, Merienda& Dinner. Then, the time between 8:00

p.m. 12:00 midnight is our party hour where in our guest will enjoy our live bands all through the night.

This chapter presents the type of the business organization, the business policy, organizational chart, qualification, and function of each personnel, compensation and other benefits. It also specifies the

legal and documentary requirements in establishing the business organization.

A. Type of Business Organization

The researchers agreed to make the business partnership and decided to have an organization that composed of 3 General Managers, 3 Cashiers, 4 Bartenders, 6 waiters and waitresses, 3 chefs, 6 assistant chefs, 6 dish washers and 3 security guard. They will bind themselves and effort to make this business successful.

B. In this business a line type of internal business structure will be adopted. Top to down organizational chart was chosen because with this kind of organizational chart all important information about the position will be shown.

F. Business Policies Like any establishment we also have the following business policies that our staff must strictly follow: a. The staff must wear their complete uniform before they come into the establishment. b. The staff must be attentive listener and must also carry out effectively each function and responsibilities assigned. c. The staff must attend to the weekly meeting for the strategies that should be followed for the effective service.

G. Legal Requirements

1. File article of incorporate/ partnership with the Securities and Exchange Commission. 2. File an application for business name with D.T.I. 3. File an application for mayors permit with the city treasurers office and pay the corresponding fees.
4. File an application for Taxpayers Identification Number (TIN)

with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR). After application of TIN immediately apply for non-VAT mayors registration attached to the permit.
