Thefirstchangewasstartingourown ministry,ByGodsGrace,Inc.,a501c3 taxexemptorganization.ThenamemeansalottousasGodhasfloodedourliveswithHisGrace, andwewouldnotbeherewithoutit.OurfoundationalBibleVerseisActs20:24,However,I considermylifeworthnothingtome;myonlyaimistofinishtheraceandcompletethetaskthe LordJesushasgivenmethetaskoftestifyingtothegoodnewsofGodsgrace.Weareworth nothingwithoutGodsgrace,andwemusttestifytothegoodnewsofthisfreegift.Ournew ministrywillenableustoreceivesupportandmoniesdirectlywithoutgoingthroughanotherministry aswehavehadtodointhepast.ThisfirstbigchangewaspartofGodsplanbecauseHeknewother changeswerecoming

WewanttothankHearts2God,John&RayeMorgan,andthecrewontheLaPazFarm,fortheir friendship,hardwork,andsupportoverthelastthreeyears.Wemadelifelongfriendsthereand ferventlyhopeandprayforGodsprotection,providence,andblessingontheirministry.LeavingLa PazCentrowasdifficultbecauseweweresovestedintheirwork.

Butasweallknow,GodsPlanisbetterthanourown.Lotsofprayerandsleeplessnightsconvinced usthatGodwasleadingustoanotherministryinneedofhelp.NewHopeChildrensFoundation http://newhopechildrensfoundation.orghasprimaryandsecondaryschools;severalfeedingcenters; andofmostinteresttous,achildrenshomewhichhasbeenourheartsvisionsincemovingto Nicaragua.NewHopehastwochildrenshomesinneedofNorthAmericanfamiliestohelpthem. OneisinElCrucero,andtheotherisinatribalvillageontheborderofHondurasandNicaragua.

OntheMove OnJanuary12thwemovedtoElCrucerowhichisabout 20kmsouthofthecapitalManaguawithapopulation ofabout16,000.Becauseitisontopofoneofthe manymountainsinNicaraguatheweatherhereis amazing!Afterlivingthreeyearsinthehigh90s, cominghereto80degreedaysfeelslikeheaven.The kidswearlongsleevesandpantsmostofthe

time.Insteadofusingfansatnight,weactuallyuseblankets.Thishasbeenagreatrespiteforus.

OpportunitiestoServe Godhasgivenusmanyopportunitiestoservehere.Johnisputtinghisknowledgeofmaintenanceto work.AllthoseyearsatRockinghamRentAllareveryhelpful.Heworksaregularscheduleandthen hastimeforourfamilyintheeveningsandonweekends.Itisgoodtohaveanormalscheduleagain.

VanessaandSierrateachattheschoolofabout 300kids.Althoughitisapublicschool,theyhave chapelandteachtheBibleonaregularbasis. VanessateachesupperlevelEnglishto31high schoolstudents.SomeunderstandEnglishvery wellwhileothersreallystruggle.Workingouta curriculumforsuchadiversegroupofstudentsis challenging,andshepraysforwisdomdaily.

SierrateachesEnglishto25firstgradersinthe morning.Shewasnervousatfirstbut perseveredandisnowdoinggreat!OnMondaysandFridaysshealsohelpsinthepreschool program,whichisthehighlightofherday.On Tuesdaysshewillalsobeabletohelpinasewingclass.

SydneyandKyleparticipateinaprogramherecalled MoreThanConquerors,sotheyarealsoenrolledinthe schoolandattendfrom7amuntil1pm.Sydneyisin 2ndgrade,andKyleisin5th.Thisistheirfirsttasteofa classroomstructure,soitisexcitingtoseethem making friends, learning Spanish,and figuringouthowtobegoodstudentsinaroomofnon Englishspeakers.Weevenhadourfirstparentteacher conference,andKylesteachertoldusshewasnervousat firstbecauseshedoesntspeakanyEnglish.Butshewas greatlyrelievedtolearnthatKylecouldunderstandand speakSpanish.

Afterafulldayatschool,wetrytoworkinhome schoolingintheafternoonsandBiblestudyatthe children'shomeintheevenings.Calebworksveryhardon hisschoolworkathomeonhisown.Healsotakescareof ourfamilychickens.

Chickensyouask?Wellwecouldntleavethembehind;theyrefamily.Webuiltthemanewhome here,andtheflockhasgrownto25chickenswithtwomoreclutchesontheway.Thechicksthat hatchedbeforewemovedaredoingwell.Theyhavegrownsignificantlyandarebeginningto reintegrateintotheflock.About75%ofourchickensgottheavianfluandareonantibiotics.Weare alsolearninghowtogetmitesoffthechickens.Wehaveadded4duckstothefamilyandhadhoped

forbabyducklings,buttheeggsdidnthatch. Werehopingshewilllayagaininabout68 months.Theseareallgreatwaysforthekidsto learntheproperwaystocareforanimals.

ANewChurch Godledusthroughmanytrialsin2012andhas broughtushereforhealing.Oneofthebest blessingsHehasgivenusisourhomechurch. ElevateChurchisanamazingplace!PastorDave preachesinEnglishandsticksverycloselytothe Bible.Hissermonsarejustwhatweneedto hearrightnowforhealing.SierraandCalebare beingfedbyanamazingyouthpastorwhotouchestheirhearts,andthereisachildrensprogramfor KyleandSydneythatteachesandgrowsthemspiritually.JohnandVanessawereevenabletoattend adinnerandmovieforValentinesDaywithothercouplesfromthechurch.

CurrentProjects Wehelpwithoversightforthenearly50feedingcentersthatNewHoperuns,whichmeanssome travel,meetingnewpeople,andusingthetoolswealreadyhavetopresentthegospel. AconstructionteamfromJohnstown,PAiscominginMarchtobuildahouseforapreschool teacherattheschool.Moretocomeonthatinanothernewsletter... Ourgardenprojectisstillaliveaswell.Wehaveanareaonthemountainthatwecanuse,butitis coveredwithweedsandwilltakesometimetoclear.Wehavenotgivenupthevision,though,and believeGodwillprovideforthataswell.

PrayerNeeds Ruby,ayoungladyatthechildrenshome,justcelebratedher15thbirthday.Shesuffersfroma diseasesimilartodwarfism.Shecan'ttalkandhastroublewalking.Shehasdevelopedalotsince beingbroughttothehome,butshestillhasalongwaytogo.Shecouldreallyuseyourprayers. Aministryherehasgenerouslylentustheirvehicle,butitisinconstantneedofrepair.Wehave alreadyrepairedtheclutch4or5timesinamonth.Thewindshieldisbrokenandneedstobefixed aswell.Weendupputtingmoneyintoitinsteadofsettingasidemoneytopurchaseourownvehicle whichwillcostabout$20,000.Thisiscurrentlyourgreatestneed. Wewouldalsoliketopursueobtainingresidencysothatwedon'thavetoleaveNicaragua anymore.Itwillcostabout$800perperson.RightnowwehavetogotoCostaRicaevery6months whichcosts$25003000eachtime.Obtainingresidencywouldrecoupitsowncostsinaboutayear.
