offers two professional development opportunities for Summer 2013 as part of our

Writing Across the Curriculum, Leadership Summer Institute

For two or three Carroll Graduate Credits 1. Writing Leadership Across the Curriculum
We meet at the Milwaukee Art Museum, 700 N. Art Museum Drive, Milwaukee. June 8, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and June 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 1:15-4:30 p.m. (To accommodate summer school teachers) There will be additional flexible field time to explore the MAM and your own writing. Field time will accommodate your schedule and be determined at our first meeting. Participants have the option of attending the Institute for 2-3 credits or no credit. A grant from the National Writing Project allows for 50% reduced graduate credit cost. The 2012 rate was $230/credit = $460 for two credits $690 total for three credits. (2013 rates will be announced in March.) Flexible options for three credits will be worked out individually with participants who want three credits. For Carroll graduate credit register for Summer Session 2, EDU 621M1 online at http://www.carrollu.edu/gradprograms/education/writingproj.asp Choose non degree. There is a $90 registration fee for all participants. This covers entrance to the MAM, all materials/books, a docent tour and snacks. This fee is in addition to tuition for those taking the course for credit. All participants (for credit or no credit) must complete and return a MWP Summer Institute 2013 Registration Application.
