God revealed Himself to Moses by
the name I AM (Jehovah). God is the
self-existent One, the eternal One.
I AM all that you will ever need. I AM
to you whatever your need may be.
When Jesus used the name I AM,
He was claiming to be God.
And God said to Moses,
I AM WHO I AM.
And He said, Thus you shall
say to the children of Israel,
I AM has sent me to you.

spiritual being. May all my appetites
be nourished by You. I treasure the

Note
Jesus contrasted Himself with the manna
that came down from heaven during the
time of Moses when He said He was the
Bread of Life. Manna gave daily physical
sustenance, but the Bread of Life can
satisfy ones spiritual hunger forever.

and resurrection, Jesus says that anyone
who believes (puts their trust) in Him will
be raised again to eternal life. Jesus has
power over life and death and whoever
believes in Christ has a spiritual life that
death cannot conquer.

arrival of a brand-new day. This reminds
us that when things look dark in our lives,
