PROCEDURE Students will answer the diagnostic test in silence. When class finishes, students and teacher will give the answers Teacher will present to students basic expressions that indicate greetings by pasting flashcards on the whiteboard. She will ask about the meaning of each one to the students and explain some cultural aspects. Students will copy on their notebook the expressions adding a drawing. T writes on the board an example of an immigration form and explains how to fill it up. S will make their form and will fill it up with personal information. T will present to student a written text Talented People. After, we will try to answer questions: prediction, scanning, skimming. Students will answer individually the comprehension questions about the text. Students will reflect over the usage of CAN/ CANT, by checking back the written text. According to the previous activity, students will write on a piece of paper three things that they can do. Rest of the will have to guess who we are talking about. T will past on the board images about these two superheroes, and them will ask students what they know about them. Students will listen to a conversation about the abilities of these heroes. They will write down the correct ability for each heroe. T will give you a list of abilities. Find at least a classmate who can do each thing on your list. Walk around the room and ask questions. After, students will write an article for school magazine about their superheroe. T will paste four pictures about people. As the T reads a description, student will have to indicate who she is talking about. Students will fill a chart which includes the vocabulary required to describe: height, hair, build, eyes. Write a short description of a character from a movie, include details about appearance and personality. Ask your partner questions and guess
