MSC Malaysia - Milestones

To help realise Vision 2020, MDeC had set targets and milestones in MSC Vision Plan, consisting of three (3) phases, as depicted below. Under MSC Phase 2 (2004-2010), the MSC Implementation Council in 2004 approved the rollout of MSC Malaysia nation-wide by creating new Cybercities and Cybercentres in qualified locations, to spread MSC benefits and incentives.

What is MSC Malaysia Cybercity?

MSC Malaysia Cybercity is defined as a designated MSC Malaysia area that

encompasses a business environment that aims to meet the prevailing MSC Malaysia Cybercity Performance Standards, towards the delivery of MSC Malaysia Bill of Guarantees No. 1 Performance Guarantee (PG) for telecommunication and electricity are made available and guaranteed by Service Providers. PGFP is currently offered only in Cyberjaya. MSC Malaysia status companies need to enter Service Level Agreement with respective Service Provider to enjoy the PG.

MSC Malaysia Cybercentre is defined as a designated MSC Malaysia area that encompasses a business environment that aims to meet the prevailing MSC Malaysia Cybercentre Performance Standards, towards the delivery of the MSC Malaysia Bill of Guarantee No. 1
