Surname Name: Course: Tutor: Date: There is no Hope of Doing Perfect Research The arguments on whether or not a research

can be perfect are based on the main essence of doing research, which is formulating solution to human problems. The conclusion on this has not been reached and it will still remain unsolved as long as

research still retains its main essence. A perfect research as an absolute term relates to excellence and impeccability. This term is the highest reference to optimum quality that is connected to impeccability. The reality that human beings need to have easier lives through elimination of problems makes research a crucial and inevitable human activity. However, since human beings are to err, and even machines can commit errors, the notion of perfection is not applicable to any activity accomplished through the involvement of human beings and machines. An accomplished research is considered as perfect if, it does not require any further analysis, and thus it has completely solved the target populations (researchers) targeted goals. After fulfilling this requirement it cannot demand any further analysis, further implying that it has archieved a positive result with an underlying beyond doubt conclusion (Fasihuddin 1). The phenomenon behind the dynamic nature of knowledge is the greatest argument supporting the absence of a perfect research. Just as time keeps on going, so do knowledge keeps on advancing, and infers that research will always be constantly undertaken to unravel the new facts under the advancing knowledge. On a lighter note,

Surname but still under the same point, Fasihuddin vies that "if perfect researches exist so far, there will be no development and the word research would be extinct" (11). For

instance, in the aviation industry, where various constant modifications are implemented in completed and flying planes, following knowledge advancements; which mainly recommended following a completed air crash investigation. This implies that there are still numerous undiscovered errors, the already accomplished research is not perfect due to the fact that they dont contain complete all inclusive facts, and this calls for more research to discover and solve them. Despite the fact that scientific research is concerned with formulating solutions to problems related directly to the population, and basic research is concerned with developing peoples knowledge thus influencing them indirectly, both of them are founded on the fact that knowledge is dynamic. For instance, the outcome of a study on unidentified flying objects, which is under basic research; increases the knowledge on outer world, but, does not influence any human
