Since we spend much of our time in the car, we have a lot of time to
discuss and reflect on this season in our lives. Here are a few of the
things God has been teaching us:
• Praise God for our good health
He will provide in His time We could tell you many stories (and LBT and safe travel
staff could probably tell you a few more) of how God provides right
when we need it. His timing is not always ours, but it is perfect, so • Praise Him for the generosity

Partnership update Following the family
We have travelled over 6,000 miles in the last 6 months. We have
spoken to Sunday school classes, entire congregations, elementary
schools, high schools, Bible studies, and LWML groups and we
have loved (almost) every minute of it. Although we love our cur-
rent role of raising support, at some point we want to have the
support raised and move on to other things, i.e. learning lan-
guages, cultures, and helping to translate the Bible! We have a
new monthly goal for 2009 because, God willing, we will be travel-
ling to and living in France for French language school beginning
in early August. We received $1,020 in November and $2,065 in
December. We need to be receiving $5,900 each month toward our
ministry. For one-time gifts toward our household set-up, we re-
ceived an additional $1,860, bringing our total to $4,542. We need
$5,458 more.

As you can see, we were very blessed over the holidays! Not only
can we see support growing steadily, we have definitely felt your
prayers. In all of that travelling, we haven’t hit a single patch of
bad weather! God is good!
