LIGHT FOR SUCCESFUL SELLING

The Aura Gourm-LL is a 26 mm diameter Long-Life fluorescent lamp which provides a light specifically adapted for presentation of retail goods and offers an extended service life three times longer than the standard lamp. The specific colour spectrum of the lamp stimulates the red and white parts of the goods, see spectral distribution curve graph 1. Gourm-LL is covered by a PET plastic film that protects the presented goods totally absorbing the UV-B radiation and reducing the UV-A radiation to approximately 70 %, see graph 2. Bleaching effects are greatly minimised. The plastic film protects goods from glass splinters and fluorescent powder if a lamp is broken accidentally.
LONG LIFE LIGHTS The Long Life Lights concept comprises light sources with extra long service life. The concept is the result of innovative product development and rigorous quality control. For our customers, the unique service life means that light sources do not need to be changed so often, which reduces their maintenance costs. The products in the concept are therefore an investment for our customers and for the environment. Products such as fluorescent tubes and light bulbs are developed, manufactured and sold within the framework of the Long Life Lights concept.

Gourm-LL includes the two patents for the unique cathode construction and inside protection layer. The design, together with strict quality controls during the high precision manufacturing process, provide a fluorescent lamp to present goods in the most appealing way for the retailer. Operation is possible in all types of luminaires with conventional or low loss ballast and starter or electronic HF ballast.

Applications
G ourm-LL is developed specifically for presentation of goods, primarly meat but also for flowers, fruits or vegetables. T he application area of Gourm-LL is especially suited for those shops and cold stores where a fresh presentation is required.

Lifetime
T he service life of Gourm-LL is 20.000 hours. T he service life is reached when the amount of light in an installation falls to 70 % of the initial 100-hour value. T he service life failure rate and lumen depreciation are calculated to IEC /EN 60081, operation is by conventional or low loss ballast with starter, based on a three-hour switching cycle, when operated by electronic ballast (warm start) the service life is extended to 25.000 hours.

T he Aura Long-Life fluorescent lamps are manufactured in accordance with IEC /EN 60081. For economical reasons Aura recommends group replacement of fluorescent lamps. W ith group replacement Aura guarantees the following service life:
