CYCLE OF LOSS
CHANGE - It is the process of migrating from one state to other. An average human being faces various changes in his life. We cannot stop changes. And if we do then we would remain status quo. To walk along the world, along the time we need to change. But is it so easy to undergo a change? Lets look after some its practical aspects. For e.g. A person experiences change due to sudden death of someone around him, someone very close to him. His relation with the person, who died, defines the impact of this shock. This shock changes his life totally. And here is the time when he is not capable of accepting this change. He initially resists this change. But slowly as days pass on starts facing various situations, various phases which are enforcing him to accept it. And a time arrives when he has no other choice than accepting this change. We are going to observe all the stages a human faces after being subjected to change. This all process from the initial start of the change till the final acceptance is known as CYCLE OF LOSS. What is this cycle of loss? It is nothing but the various phases which a human experiences after being subjected to any change. These phases contain various emotions of human. Then comes in his mind an emotion of BARGAINING. He starts thinking that what I can get out of this change for myself. How can I utilize this change for my personnel gain? But after this when he realizes that there is nothing to gain from this or he is unable to get something form it he gets DEPPRESED. He is no more interested in this change. And finally comes the ACCEPTANCE. He is finally convinced with all the consequences coming along with the change and he accepts it. Now the question arises in our minds is what the use of CYCLE OF LOSS is What is the need of studying it..? We can utilize this process to manipulate the progress of changes we are implementing in our organization. By taking surveys and observing the current expressions coming out of our employees we can further plan our future plans of implementation of the work strategies Manipulation of these expressions can definitely help us in planning our future strategies.
